It is 96 meters high. London Eye London eye is a 135 meters tall ferris wheel. It offers a view of the town. Thames London lies on the river Thames. Buckingham Palace Buckingham Palace is the home of Queen Elisabeth. Underground The Underground in London is also called "the tube" because it travels through tubes under the ground. When big ships come along the river Thames, the bridge opens to let the ships go through. British Museum The British Museum is one of the biggest museums in the world. It has more than seven million objects. Tower of London The Tower of London is an old castle. It is more than 800 years old. First it was a fortress, then a prison.
