In January, we had an alumni party+ service learning project (Making sandwiches).
US alumni and a Japanese alumna reunited as we made lots of sandwiches and also
mochi balls.


Graduates accepted to Marist School and Atlanta International School.
Plays tennis at a national level. Ranked 89th (September 2015) in the nation, 6th in
GA for age group.
She was busy traveling to tennis tournaments since she graduated from
SAINTS. She is ranked 89th (September 2015) in the nation, out of 1005
girls who holds national ranking points for 12U. Within the national
ranking, she is 13th in the south which includes 9 states, and 6th in GA. It
may not seem very impressive, but in GA's top 10 girls, only she and
another girl attend full time school; all others are either home schooled or
go to part time schools (2 or 3 half days). And she is the shortest player
among top 128 in the nation. Her motto is size doesn't matter, and quality
over quantity in training, lessons and studies. Now she is going to focus
playing in the 14U and hope to surpass her 12s ranking. Top 107 nationally
are considered division 1 college prospects if they don't go pro.
She enjoys hard work and competition. She aims to get better and does not
focus on winning too much at this point. More than anything, she loves
tennis enough to sacrifice sleepovers and seeing her school friends. She
used to do her homework between her matches and in the car to and from
tournaments. Her time management skill she had learned at SAINTS would
serve her well in middle school and beyond.
(December 13, 2015) Middle school update:
After graduating in March, she played a lot of tennis. She also read books
and did some 6/7th grades drills until end of May.
After 4 months off from school, Neena was so nervous on the first day of
school, yet she wasn't impressed with her classes (too easy, rowdy kids).
However, within 3 days, teachers and counselors started to test her to be
placed in gifted program. After shuffling her schedule and changing classes,
Neena has been so much happier both academically and socially; many of
her soccer friends are now in her classes. She loves school as she has
always been there. She is in chorus and still plays travel tennis. She loves
doing online research, always going for the extra credit, enjoys group and
individual projects. Her teachers are impressed by her presentation skills.
She's learning a new language, Spanish. For the past 3 grading periods, her
lowest grade was 94/100. Last week she won spelling bee in her HR. Next
she competes against other 7th grade HR winners. Wish you could have
seen her beaming face when she was telling me about the spelling bee.
I can't thank you enough for the way you had prepared her for middle
school at SAINTS. Thank you for teaching her joy of learning and instilling
a great studying habit. Having wonderful English teachers is a true gift
that keeps on giving as her world keeps expanding. She was so fortunate.

This year I auditioned for Perimeter Ballet Company and I passed! I am also a
teaching assistant at my Ballet school for the younger girls.For Figure skating, I
passed Juveneile which was my goal for this year. I am now training for South
Atlantic Regional Championships in October。

バレエではペリメターバレエ団に合格し、また、バレエスクールで今年からアシスタントを
務め小さい生徒に教えています。そして、フィギュアスケートでは今年の目標であった
Juveneile に合格し、10 月の東海岸南部地区予選に向けて、日々練習しています。
今年の卒業生はマリストとアトランタインターナショナルスクールに合格しました。
８年生でナショナル・オーナー・ソサエティに入りました。
テニスの全米部門で試合をしています。（全米ランキング：89 位、ジョージア州ランキン
グ：6 位）
様々な分野の AP で高得点。











アメリカの大学から、日本、中国、ドイツ、スコットランドなどに留学しました。
ジョージア大学の４年で中国にインターンとして行き、高校生に食品の安全性について授業
をしました。
大学一年でのとき、ワシントンＤＣで研究インターンをしました。
大学二年で、国際関係学部新入生アドバイザーをつとめました。
大学の日本語科で後輩に日本語を教えました。
ジョージア工科大学にて材料工学のマスターを取得し、リサーチフェローをしました。最
近、日本企業で仕事を始めました。

· Congratulations on many reports of honors & principals awards in junior and high schools
as well as full tuition scholarship for colleges and graduate school.
· "My article written in English about the Japan Earthquake was in my high school newspaper
and a local paper. Around the same time, my essay, I wrote in Japanese on the importance of
learning Japanese history in Japanese high schools was in the Oversea
Educational Magazine circulated around the world."
· AUS SAINTS alumni interviewed Japan SAINTS alumni and wrote an article for their
school newspaper. They reported the real voice of teenagers and increased awareness among
US teens about the pain and suffering after the earthquake in Japan. Great job on becoming a
bridge between two countries.
· “I am now studying to be a nurse in Japan. Part of the reason I wanted to become a nurse is
because of the education I received at SAINTS.”
· Alumni are playing varsity tennis and soccer in the 9th grade.
· A family informed us recently that their son who was in SAINTS kindergarten many years
ago is now studying at Tokyo University. Congratulations!

· 「日本の震災についての英語の記事が、高校の新聞と地元の新聞に載りました。同
時期に、日本の高校で日本の歴史を教える重要性について日本語で書いた記事が、
海外子女教育財団の雑誌に載りました。」
· アメリカにいるセインツの卒業生が、日本にいるセインツの卒業生にインタビュー
をし、学校新聞に載せる記事を書きました。震災直後の日本の高校生の生の声をリ
アルタイムでアメリカの高校生に届けたことで、両国間の架け橋となる役割を果た
しました。
· 「日本で看護師になる勉強をしています。看護師を目指したのは、セインツで学ん
だことを生かしたかったからです。」
· 高１でバーシティ（=最高レベル）テニス・サッカーチームに入りました。
· セインツの幼稚園に在籍なさったご家庭から、「この春高校を卒業し、東京大学に

· Our students have been accepted by magnet schools and by almost all prestigious private
schools of Atlanta, such as AIS, Galloway, Greater Atlanta Christian, Lovett, Marist, Mt.
Pisgah, Westminster, Wesleyan, and Woodward. The local admission offices now recognize
and truly value our bilingual education. Our acceptance rate by local private schools was
100% this year.
· After being accepted into the competitive school environment, they continue to make good
grades and receive honors and awards.
· They score high marks on the SAT both in English and Math, the SAT Japanese language
exam, and Japanese AP Exam.
· An alumnus has been chosen to represent his school and region at the All State Essay
Competition competing against the best high school writers of Georgia.
· We have received word that some of our graduates were sought after and employed by
prestigious companies this year.
