オヨーン・サンジャースレン
前モンゴル国自然環境・グリーン開発大臣、
元外務大臣、国会議員（国民勇気・緑の党党首）
国民勇気・緑の党党首。2012 年から 2014 年、モンゴル国自然環境・
グリーン開発大臣。1998 年に初当選して以来、2000 年、2004 年、
2008 年、2012 年と再選している。
2004 年から 2008 年の任期中には、国家大会議副議長、外務大臣、
ならびに国連ミレニアム開発目標と貧困削減に関する分科委員会
の議長にも就任した。
現在、政治活動の他にゾリグ財団の会長として、民主主義の発展や、グッドガバナンスの
普及、若者の教育、地域開発の為の活動等を続けており、国連環境総会（UNEA）の議長
も務めている。
政治の道へ進む以前は、英国のケンブリッジ大学より地球科学博士号を取得し、鉱業の分
野でのキャリアに従事していた。

Dr. OYUN Sanjaasuren
Former Minister of Environment and Green Development,
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Member of Parliament
of Mongolia
Dr. Oyun SANJAASUREN is the former Minister of Environment and Green Development from
2012 to 2014. She was elected as a Member of Parliament first in 1998 and has been re-elected in the
terms of 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012.
During the term of 2004-2008, she respectively held the positions of Vice-Speaker of the Parliament,
Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as a Chairman of sub-committee on Millennium Development
Goals and poverty reduction.
She is also the founder and the leader of the Civil Will Green Party of Mongolia and is the head of
Zorig Foundation, a prominent Mongolian NGO that is widely known through its activities and
programs for advancement of democracy, promotion of good governance, youth and education, as
well as community development. Dr. Oyun is currently elected as a President of United Nations
Environment Assembly.
Dr. Oyun has a PhD degree in Earth Sciences from Cambridge University, United Kingdom and
pursued a career in mining industry before joining politics.
