Adapting Behavior in a Fundamentally Uncertain World
Report on the 9th IMPRS Uncertainty Thesis Workshop The 9th Thesis Workshop of the IMPRS Uncertainty was held at the Harnack‐Haus in Berlin, a venue of the Max Planck Society. From February 29th till March 3th more than 20 presentations were given by the doctoral students. At the Thesis Workshop, all cohorts of the IMPRS Uncertainty meet, those who are close to finish, those who are in the middle of their PhD thesis writing, and those who just started. As in the years before, each of them had 30 minutes to present her/his thesis followed by 15 minutes of intense discussion. At the end of each day, poster sessions gave the opportunity for more detailed discussions. The participating faculty members from the different partnering institutions as well as the other students gave comments, advice, and sometimes also criticised the work of the PhD students. At the end of the workshop, three students received the final certificate of the IMPRS Uncertainty after having completed all fulfilments of the curriculum. Monday, February 29th
