実行する
本書は、AXS メモリーカードを最新のバージョンにバー
ジョンアップする操作の説明書です。
バージョンアップには AXS-CR1（別売）が必要です。
AXS-CR1 をコンピューターに接続して、AXSM Drive
Utility を使用します。

ださい。
現在のバージョンを確認する
AXS メモリーカードのファームウェアを、次の手順で更新
できます。
ご注意
• 最新ファームウェアについては、ソニーのプロフェッ
ショナル / 業務用製品サイトをご覧ください。
• バージョンアップを実行する前に、必ず AXSM Drive
Utility でフルフォーマットを行ってください。
• メディアを壊す可能性がありますので、次の操作が完了
AXSM Drive Utility で AXS メモリーカードを選択したと
きに、カードの状態と情報が表示されます。
するまでは、ドライブ本体の電源を切ったり、コン
ピューターの電源を切ったり、USB ケーブルを抜いたり
しないでください。
• メディア内のフォルダーやファイルを開いているときは、
すべて閉じてから下記の操作を行ってください。

ツリー表示部でメディアを選択してから、［ファーム
ウェア更新］ボタンをクリックする。
アップデートファイルを選択するダイアログボックス
が表示されます。

AXS メモリーカード用の最新ファームウェアを選択し
てから、［OK］ボタンをクリックする。
ファームウェアの更新が開始します。処理が終わると、
更新が完了したことを知らせるメッセージ画面が表示
されます。
3 ［OK］ボタンをクリックしてから、メディアをドライ
ブから取り出す。
ご注意
• AXS メモリーカードは自動的にコンピューターからアン
マウントされます。
• Mac OS X では、
デスクトップ上に AXS メモリーカードの
アイコンが表示されたままとなります。このアイコンは、
［ゴミ箱］にドラッグ＆ドロップするとデスクトップから
消すことができます。

Getting Started
Performing the Update
This document describes the procedure for updating the
AXS memory card firmware to the latest version.
The AXS-CR1 (available separately) is required to update
firmware.
Connect the AXS-CR1 to a computer in order to use the
AXSM Drive Utility.
You can update the firmware of the AXS Memory Card as
follows.
For details about operation, refer to the Help in the AXSM
Drive Utility.
Checking the Current Version
Select the AXS memory card using the AXSM Drive
Utility to display the card status and information.
Notes
• For details on the latest firmware, visit the Sony
professional products website.
• Before updating the firmware, be sure to full format the
AXS Memory Card using the AXSM Drive Utility.
• Do not turn off the drive or the computer or disconnect
the USB cable until the following procedure is complete.
Doing so may damage the media.
• If you opened any folders or files stored on the media, be
sure to close all of them before performing the
following.

Select the media in the tree display, and click the
[Update Firmware] button.
The dialog box for selecting the update file appears.

Select the latest firmware for the AXS Memory Card,
and click the [OK] button.
Firmware update starts. When the process is complete,
a message indicating that updating is complete
appears.

Click the [OK] button, and remove the media from the
drive.
Notes
• The AXS Memory Card will unmount from the
computer automatically.
• In Mac OS X, the AXS Memory Card icon will remain
displayed on the desktop. You can drag and drop this
icon to [Trash] to remove the icon.
