Attention / Achtung
You can shorten tail boom up to 60mm if you want a very low weight model or do not need so much
initial stabilization during launch.
Der Heckausleger kann bis zu 60mm gekürzt werden, wenn man ein sehr leichtes Modell haben
möchte oder nicht so viel Wurfstabilisierung benötigt.
Take a piece of balsa wood, mill a half circle on one side and glue (CA) it into tail boom. On right
picture you can see it for right-hand launchers
Ein Stück Balsa auf einer Seite halbrund schleifen und in den Heckausleger einkleben
(Sekundenkleber). Am rechten Bild eingeklebt für einen Rechtshänder.

If there is a separate pylon, you can choose
for topside or bottomside mounting of
elevator. A contour shows correct postion of
pylon. Mount wing, screw stabilizer on pylon
and align them parallel before glueing.
Bei einem separten HLTW-Pylon kann man
wählen, ob man über oder unter dem
Heckausleger das HLTW haben möchte.
Bevor der Pylon verklebt wird, mit montiertem
Flügel und HLTW, parallel einrichten

Glue horn with 5min epoxy. Ruderhorn mit 5min Epoxy einkleben
Torsion spring: bend an “U” with 45mm length out of 0,3mm steel rod. 2 springs per rudder or
elevator. Twist torsion spring by 110° and glue one side in stabilizer and other side in flap part.
Torsionsfeder: ein “U” mit 45mm Länge aus 0,3mm Stahl biegen. 2 Federn je Ruder einbauen. Vor
dem Verkleben Feder 110° verdrehen und bei Klappe und Leitwerk einkleben.
Connection between rudder and elevator to servo will be done with 0,3mm flexible steel wire.
Ruderhorn und Servo wird mittels 0,3mm Nylon-Stahldraht gemacht.

With the wooden template you can align vert. stabilizer. In picture above it is for right hand launcher.

Wing:
Connect servo to RX or servotester and set it to neutral. Preinstalled pushrod is on inside before
aileron. Remove 20cm of covering tape (picture left). Mill opening for pushrod horn into aileron until
bottom side. Do NOT mill through bottom side of aileron. Glue horn in that position so that aileron is
8mm down in “servo-neutral”.
Servo mit Fernsteuerung oder Servotester verbinden und auf neutral stellen. Vorinstallierte
Anlenkung liegt (Innenseite) vor dem Querruder. 20cm Abdeckband ablösen um es nicht zu
beschädigen. Schlitz für Ruderhorn fräsen. Bis zur Unterschale fräsen, aber NICHT durchfräsen.
