12 students who scored above IELTS 7.0 received awards
青山学院大学国際交流センターでは、2015 年度学内で実施した IELTS で 7.0 以上の優秀なスコアを獲得し
た学生 12 名(国際政治経済学部生 11 名、文学部生 1 名)の成果を称え、10 月 22 日(木)に表彰しました。
受賞者には国際交流センター所長より、記念品、賞状、図書カードが授与されました。12 名のうち IELTS8.0
が 1 名、7.5 が 2 名、7.0 が 9 名で、欧米大学院出願時の英語力要件を満たす高いスコアでした。今年度
156 名が自発的に学内で IELTS を受験し、うち 119 名が協定校派遣留学出願に必要な最低条件である 5.5
以上を獲得しました。
Aoyama Gakuin University International Exchange Center has a newly-introduced scheme, ‘AGU
IELTS Incentive Award’ which pays back some money to those who obtained above 5.5 in their
IELTS examinations, held on our premises.
To celebrate the excellence of their high English proficiency, 12 students who obtained above 7.0
(One from our College of Literature and others from our School of International Politics, Economics
and Communication) were invited to the award ceremony on Thursday, 22nd October at the
International Exchange Center.
They were provided the award certificate, gifts and a book card by the Director of the
International Exchange Center. The top scoring participants included: One student who achieved 8.0,
two who achieved 7.5 and the remaining scored 7.0. These students all received a rebate of JPY
20,000. 156 students elected to take the IELTS exams, many of which took them in the middle of
their summer holidays. 119 students achieved above 5.5 which is the minimum level of English
proficiency to apply for our exchange study-abroad scheme.
国際交流センターでは、英語 4 技能(リスニング、リーディング、ライティング、スピーキング)が測れる IELTS
を海外協定大学留学出願時の英語力証明の一つとしています。受験申込みが集中する夏に本学学生が安
心して受験できるように、本学キャンパスで IELTS を受験できる体制を 3 年前に整えました。来年度課外
IELTS 講座の設置数を 3 倍に増やし、目標スコア獲得に向けての支援を強化していく計画です。
