Yasumoto started her career as a dancer in 1999 and as a choreographer in 2001. Freed
from the strictures of logic and reason, Yasumoto uses her limber body and keen instinct
to inspire and stimulate the audience. She has been internationally active, performing in

これまで多くのソロ／デュオ作品を作ってきた康本雅子が、長期間に渡るダンサーとの共同作業を
経て創り上げた、初の本格的な群舞作品。3.11 以降、放射能に汚染された現代社会で母親として
生きていることの実感を作品に込めた。また、ダンサーの身体性、特徴を振り付けに活かし、生
き生きとした身体を提示することに成功した。

While Masako Yasumoto has performed many solo and duo dances so far, this is her
first full-blown piece of group dance, which she put together in collaboration with other
dancers over a long period of time. Following the earthquake and tsunami disaster that
struck on March 11, 2011, she began weaving the first-hand sensations of a mother living
in a contemporary Japan contaminated with radioactivity into her dances. She has also
succeeded in presenting the vibrancy of our bodies by giving full play to the physicality
and features of the dancers in her choreography.
