For graduate school students in the Yagami Campus, we offer 5 Japanese language courses per semester, and
one intensive elementary-level course during the spring holidays. Students who have completed Elementary 1(A+B)
must take the Spring Intensive Course in order to progress to the Spring Semester. Japanese language classes
are also offered at the Mita and Hiyoshi campuses (tuition fee is charged). The classes are taught using the
Direct Method (Japanese is the only language spoken in class).
Students are required to register for Japanese classes as the optional subject of the Graduate School.
At the beginning of the semester, we have a guidance session and individual consultations for each student.
