Fiery VUE, version 1.4
This document contains important information about this release. Be sure to provide this
information to all users before proceeding with the installation.
New features
The following are now supported in this software release:
• Windows 8.1 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems
• Microsoft Office 2010 Suite 64-bit
• Microsoft Office 2013 Suite 32-bit and 64-bit editions
Fiery VUE preferences
A new preference option has been added to help EFI improve its software. From Edit >
Preferences, you can select this preference to allow EFI to collect anonymous usage data from
Fiery VUE.
Known issues
Open Type Fonts (OTF) cannot be viewed in the Print Preview pane
Fiery VUE does not display OTF, for example Museo, in the Print Preview pane. Fiery VUE
prints the fonts correctly.
Fiery VUE application
The term "Force page size" and its selections are not localized in Japanese.
The term "Booklet" in the Templates menu is not localized in Japanese.
Microsoft Office 2010/2013 Ribbon
The Fiery tab is not available within Microsoft Office 2010/2013 64-bit applications from the
ribbon.
Help
Fiery VUE Help
When you select Fiery VUE Help from the Help menu, the default Web browser opens, with
a link to Fiery VUE Help at help.efi.com/fieryvue/index.html.
The website language is based on the language specified in Fiery VUE Preferences.

Préférences de Fiery VUE

des données d’utilisation anonymes depuis Fiery VUE.

Impossible d’afficher les polices OpenType (OTF) dans le volet
Prévisualisation de l’impression
Fiery VUE n’affiche pas les polices OTF, par exemple Museo, dans le volet de Prévisualisation
de l’impression. Fiery VUE les imprime correctement.
Application Fiery VUE
Le terme « Forcer le format de page » et les paramètres correspondants ne sont pas localisés en

Voreinstellungen in Fiery VUE
Eine neue Voreinstellung hilft EFI dabei, die Software noch weiter zu verbessern. Im Fenster
„Voreinstellungen“ („Bearbeiten“ > „Voreinstellungen“), können Sie angeben, ob Sie EFI
erlauben möchten, anonyme Verwendungsdaten aus Fiery VUE zu sammeln.
Bekannte Problemsituationen
Keine Anzeige von OpenType-Schriftarten in der Druckvorschau
Fiery VUE zeigt OpenType-Schriftarten, wie z. B. Museo, in der Druckvorschau nicht an.
Fiery VUE sorgt dennoch für eine korrekte Druckausgabe.
Fiery VUE Anwendung
In der japanischen Version wurde die Option „Erzwingen“ mitsamt ihren Auswahlmöglichkeiten nicht lokalisiert.
In der japanischen Version wurde im Menü „Schablonen“ der Term „Broschüre“
nicht lokalisiert.
Menüband in Microsoft Office 2010/2013
Im Menüband der 64-Bit-Version von Microsoft Office 2010/2013 steht die Registerkarte
„Fiery“ nicht zur Verfügung.

Online-Hilfe zu Fiery VUE
Wenn Sie im Menü „Hilfe“ auf „Hilfe zu Fiery VUE“ klicken, startet Ihr Standardbrowser
und öffnet die Webseite help.efi.com/fieryvue/index.html mit der Hilfe zu Fiery VUE.
Die Sprache der Hilfe ist abhängig von der in Fiery VUE gewählten Voreinstellung.
