 MIC purchases certified equipment from the market
 Examine technical regulations conformity
 When equipment which violates the regulations is detected, MIC
orders the supplier to correct it, after investigation

Require supplier to report on certified equipment(Articles 38-21 of Radio Law)
 Inspect certified equipment, etc. in suppliers’ offices (Articles 38-20-1 )
 Prohibit suppliers from affixing Conformity Mark (Articles 38-28 )
 Revoke certification (Articles 38-17-2 )
 Take actions for preventing disturbance or harm caused by noncompliant equipment (Articles 38-22 )


Fine of up to one million YEN or imprisonment of up to one year

- Frequency, Occupancy frequency band width, Spurious,
Antenna electric power, etc.
・Attachment of Conformity Mark
4．The number of Non-compliant：
4% of the number of all samples
・Equipment with unsuitable mark.
・Emission of frequency that exceed regulation.
・Emission of antenna electric power that exceed regulation.
