International Student Cultural Ambassador Presentation Program
MIFA is seeking international students to introduce their cuisine to Japanese.

Date: October 18 (Sat) 10:00-14:00
Venue: Cooking room in Midorigaoka, Meguroku
Number of presenters wanted: 5 students from 5 countries
Contents of the event: Each presenter will introduce ONE
MENU using NOODLE or FLOUR. Five students will
introduce five different menu using noodle or flour. Cooking
is conducted with Japanese participants. MIFA will bear
all expenses for ingredient of cooking. If you want to cook
Halal food, MIFA will consider it.
Eligibility: to be an international student, willing to
demonstrate food of the country for Japanese. Must be
enrolled in a university in Tokyo.

What would you like to
introduce??
Japanese volunteers will help presenters organize the
event. Presenters will be kindly requested to attend
meetings with volunteers, scheduled on Sept. 6 (Sat),
Sept. 27 (Sat) and Oct. 4 (Sat) 10:00-12:00.
How to apply: Please present a suggested menu using
NOODLE or FLOUR. The menu should be attached with
its recipe and ingredients to be used. Send your
application to MIFA ([email protected]), with your name,
gender, nationality, date of arrival in Japan, address, cell
phone and the university you are enrolled in. Application
must be arrived at MIFA no later than August 24.
Compensation: Presenter will receive ¥3,000 on the
day of the event. Additionally, a coupon of 500 yen
(Quo card) will be gifted when the presenter join the
above mentioned meetings at MIFA.
Note: Presenter will be kindly requested to register
themselves as a MIFA member. (annual membership
fee for student is ¥500)
