This event, called for and presided over by Mr. Hideaki Ohmura, Governor of Aichi Prefecture will show case the experiences of leading sub-national governments around the world and discuss how they can strengthen their activities. It will feature prominent guests from national, local governments and UN agencies and international organizations. Program Opening Presentation by Aichi Prefectural Government Panel Discussion Summary ・Ms. Shela Patrickson (Manager) ・Greeting from President of ICLEI ・Mr. Hideaki Ohmura, Governor of Aichi Prefecture ・Title: Toward Achieving Aichi Biodiversity Targets by 2020 Taking initiatives forming ecological networks through companies, NPOs, universities partnerships and engagements is promoted in Aichi. In the presentation, Aichi will show how to go beyond subnational government and into sectors in urban, Satoyama and industrial area.
