2014 Application Information
Seigakuin Atlanta International School is accredited by the Japanese Ministry of Education and Science as an
overseas educational facility and the school year runs from April 1 until March 31. We include English classes in addition to
the Japanese Ministry of Education and Science curriculum.

Entrance Exam
1. Exam Format
Pre-School/Kindergarten:
Interview of the applicants and their parents and behavior observation
of the applicants
Elementary*:
Interview of the applicants and their parents, written test (Japanese and Math)
and English evaluation
* For rising first graders who will take the Entrance Exam in the spring, there will be an interview of applicants and their
parents and behavior observation of applicants. They will also have a written test (Japanese, numbers, etc.) and an
English evaluation.
Please bring a separate pair of shoes to be worn inside by your child only on the day of the exam.
2. Entrance Exam Dates
The regular examination dates are Saturday, February 8, 2014 and Wednesday, August 20, 2014.
Please contact the Business Office for other exam dates.

Application Procedure
Prospective applicants should complete the application form
and other necessary documents, attach a check in the amount
of the Exam Fee, and submit it to the Business Office. Application
forms are available in the Business Office.

Entrance Procedure
Please complete the Entrance Procedure documents (which will be enclosed with the Acceptance Notification) and
submit them to the business office. In addition, we ask that you pay the Entrance Fee and School Fees at this time.

*The 1-payment or 4-payment plan is available only when your child enrolls for the full school year (April through
March). School Fees for fall term enrollment are $5,340for Pre-School, $5,850 for Kindergarten, and $7,050 for
Elementary. Please ask the Business Office about the payment schedule. Please contact the Business Office about the
school fees and payment schedule if your child enrolls at a different time.
** When multiple children from the same family are enrolled, there is a discount for the younger children.
Entrance Fee
There will be an Entrance Fee of $400 (pre-school/kindergarten and elementary) for new enrollment. If one or more
siblings are in Seigakuin Atlanta International School, it will be $200 per sibling after the first child.
Time of Payment This schedule applies to those who enroll for the full school year (April through March).
The Entrance Fee is due when completing the entrance procedures.
School fees are to be prepaid according to the following schedule.
1-Payment Plan: Due upon completing entrance procedures.
4-Payment Plan: Due upon completing entrance procedures, then in April, June, and September.
8-Payment Plan: Due upon completing entrance procedures, then in March, May, June, August, October,
November, and January.
Special Guidance Fee
You may be asked to pay a fee if counseling or other special guidance is necessary.
Scholarship
Need-based scholarships are available at Seigakuin Atlanta International School.

Other Matters

Please be advised that Seigakuin Atlanta International School will not refund any payment once it has been made.
♦
The pre-school/kindergarten program runs from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. for the 3- & 4-year-old classes and until 2:30
p.m. for the 5-year-old class. The elementary school schedule is 8:40 a.m. until 3:05 p.m. or 3:45 p.m.

本校は、毎年 4 月 1 日に始まり、翌年 3 月 31 日をもって終了する日本の文部科学省海外子女教育施設とし
て認定された学校です。日本語で行われる文部科学省カリキュラムに加えて英語授業があります。

入学手続時の納入金額：入園・入学金、および学納金（一括あるいは分納１回の金額）の合計を納
入していただきます。前納が原則です。

8 分納: 入学手続時 2 月・3 月・5 月・6 月・8 月・10 月・11 月・1 月
特別指導
カウンセリング等の特別な指導が必要な場合に申し受けることがあります。
奨学金
聖学院アトランタ国際学校（セインツ）では、経済的な理由から授業料の全額を納めることが困難
なご家庭のための奨学金制度があります。詳細はホームページの奨学金についてをご参照ください。
その他
□ 一旦納入していただきました学納金は、お返ししかねますので、あらかじめご了承ください。
□ 幼稚部年少・年中組は午前 9 時から午後 1 時、年長組は午前 9 時から午後 2 時 30 分です。
小学部は午前 8 時 40 分から午後 3 時 5 分または午後 3 時 45 分です。
