明石海峡における
ＡＩＳバーチャル航路標識の実用化実験
第五管区海上保安本部は、明石海峡における海上交通の安全性向上のため、船舶
自動識別装置（ＡＩＳ）の機能を活用したバーチャル（仮想）航路標識の実験を行
います。バーチャル航路標識は、海上交通安全法に基づく明石海峡航路東口付近に
おける経路の指定となる基点の位置に表示されます。

【内容】
 大阪湾海上交通センターのＡＩＳ陸上局から航路標識通報
（メッセージ２１）を送信します。
 航路標識通報（メッセージ２１)を受信した船舶側のＡＩＳ
表示器またはＡＩＳ信号が表示可能なレーダー画面上に、
ＡＩＳ航路標識のシンボル（
）が表示＊されます。
＊表示されるバーチャル航路標識のシンボルは、ＡＩＳ装置によって異なる場合があり
ます。
＊初期型のＡＩＳ装置においては、シンボルが表示されない場合があります。
＊表示されるバーチャル航路標識は、海上交通センターがＡＩＳによって提供する航行
の安全に関する情報として位置づけられます。

東側から明石海峡航路東口に入航しようとする長さ５０ｍ以上の船舶は、Ａ線の北側を航行するとともに、Ｂ

線を横切って航行すること、明石海峡航路東方灯浮標から２００ｍ以上離れた海域を航行すること。

明石海峡航路を出て東航する長さ５０ｍ以上の船舶は、Ａ線の南側を航行するとともに、明石海峡航路東方灯
浮標から２００ｍ以上離れた海域を航行すること。

AIS Virtual AtoN Practical Test
In Akashi Kaikyo
For increasing safety of maritime traffic in Akashi Kaikyo, 5th Regional Coast Guard
Headquarters perform a practical test of a virtual AtoN (Aids to Navigation) using a function of AIS
(Automatic Identification system).
The virtual AtoN is displayed on the reference point of the designation of track in sea area near
the east entrance of Akashi Kaikyo Traffic Route based on Maritime Traffic Safety Law.

 Apr. 17, 2012 (1200JST) ～ Oct. 31, 2012 (1200JST)
【Contents】
 AtoN report (message 21) is sent from the AIS land station
at the Osaka-Wan VTS center.
 When the signal of AIS virtual AtoN is received, a symbol of
virtual AtoN ( )* is displayed on a display of AIS equipment
or a radar display which is linked with a AIS equipment.

＊The symbol of virtual AtoN might be different depend on AIS equipments.
＊The symbol of virtual AtoN might not be displayed with early-type AIS
equipments
＊The virtual AtoN indicated is considered as one of the navigation safety
information from the VTS center using AIS.

●The navigation rule at the vicinity of the east entrance of the Akashi Kaikyo traffic route
a. A vessel of 50 meters and upwards in length which intends to enter the Akashi Kaikyo traffic route from the east shall；
- Navigate the north side of the line "A" and cross the line "B“,
- Navigate the area 200 meters or over apart from the Akashi Kaikyo Traffic route Eastward light buoy.
b. A vessel of 50 meters and upwards in length which goes out the Akashi Kaikyo traffic route and navigates eastbound shall;
- Navigate in the area to the south of Line A,
- Navigate the area 200 meters or over apart from the Akashi Kaikyo Traffic route Eastward light buoy.
