の衛星を使った生命科学実験を行うことが分かった。日印が共同で宇
宙実験をするのは初。宇宙大国入りを目指す印と協力関係を築くこと
で、米スペースシャトルや ISS 運用終了後も長期的に科学実験の機
会を確保していく狙いがある。共同実験に使うのは、印宇宙研究機関
（ＩＳＲＯ）が開発した回収カプセル型実験衛星「ＳＲＥ２号」。ＪＡＸＡの

（AeroVironment）社と結んでいた超小型無人航空機「Nano Air
Vehicle（NAV）」のフェーズ II 契約延長を発表。同社が開発中の超小
型無人航空機は大きさが 5 センチ程しかなく、ちょうどハチドリ程の筐体
を持つ。同社では既に電源を内蔵した試作機を使ったホバリング飛行
実験にも成功しており、DARPA では研究助成を継続し、今後、更に

【社説】サイバーテロで揺らいだ「IT 大国」韓国の現実
相次ぐサイバーテロの影響で大韓民国が大きく揺らいだ。7 日と 8 日に
撃を加え、7 日には韓の政治・経済・言論分野の代表的な機関や企

– These two segments combined constituted 86% of sat industry revenues in 2006, but have
now grown to 90%
• Consumer services, both satellite TV and satellite radio, continue to lead overall Sat
Services growth and fuel revenue growth in the Ground Equipment segment
• Launch price increases, rather than more launches, fueled an increase in Launch Industry
sector revenues between 2007 and 2008
– Despite fairly constant revenues, U.S. share of world launch revenues decreased from 31%
