NEWS AMERIGO SERVICE - OCTOBER 2014
Dear valued customer,
we are glad to announce that CMA CGM will continue the Amerigo service as sole operator as from October
1st .
With the target to further enhance the quality of service and meet market requirement, the new service
pattern offered by CMA CGM will be as follows :
A FLEET of 6 vessels operated solely by CMA CGM
ROTATION will be maintained in 42 days with following port coverage : Malta – Livorno – Genoa – Fos
sur mer – Barcelona – Valencia (WB) – New York – Norfolk – Savannah – Miami – Tangiers – Valencia
(EB) – Malta

MIAMI DIRECT CALL, with weekly frequency.
Florida market will now be covered on Amerigo service through MIAMI (SFCT terminal) for both WB
and EB trades. This new arrangement replaces Port Everglades call on Florida shuttle. It will provide a
closer access to the Miami distribution centers and warehouses. As well it will allow rail connection
with Florida East Coast Railway serving various locations including Jacksonville.
NEW !! MEXICO will also be offered thanks to weekly connection with VICTORY BRIDGE in Miami.
This new opportunity will allow to develop in the W Med / Mexico trade with a faster transit-time than
the one currently offered via Cartagena / Colombia. Although a bit longer than the 2 direct services
offered on this trade, our transshipment offer will stand at a very good standard talking about reliability
of service (both Amerigo and Victory Bridge have high score in terms of punctuality) and smooth
transshipment operation in Miami (reliable transshipment operations and process, in our own
terminal).
