Siamo lieti di presentare la nostra azienda attiva sul
mercato italiano ed estero dal 1946 per la costruzione
di tubi di grande diametro, parti speciali per condotte
in pressione, recipienti in pressione e lavorazioni
meccaniche.
Dal 1997 siamo impegnati anche nel settore energetico,
in particolare nella produzione di torri per turbine a vento
complete di piattaforme, scale, impianti elettrici, di
segnale, di illuminazione e di potenza.
We are pleased to present our company which is active
in the Italian market and markets overseas since 1946
in the manufacturing of large diameter tubes, special
parts for conducts under pressure, pressure vessels and
mechanical production.
From 1997 we have also been committed in the energetic
sector. In particular, the production of towers for wind
turbines complete with platforms, stairs, electrical
installation, sig¬nals, lighting and power.
Ad oggi contiamo di aver prodotto oltre 3000 sezioni di
torre del tipo KW e MW installate in siti italiani ed esteri
(Cile, Cipro, Croazia, Francia, Germania, Grecia, Inghilterra,
Kenia, Olanda, Spagna Vietnam e Turchia).
Until today we have produced more than 3000 sections of
KW and MW type towers installed on Italian and foreign
sites (Chile, Cyprus, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece,
England, Kenya, Holland, Spain, Vietnam and Turkey).
Per soddisfare le richieste dei clienti e del mercato,
orientiamo i nostri investimenti alla formazione
specializzata delle risorse umane e al miglioramento del

The company form 1946
Nel Gennaio 2009 abbiamo inaugurato la nuova area produttiva di 100.000
metri quadrati presso Mozzagrogna (Ch) dove la nostra azienda produce:
- Carpenteria Metallica medio-pesante;
- Flangiame;
- Lavorazioni meccaniche;
- Pezzi speciali in acciaio per condotte;
- Torri eoliche;
- Tubi in acciaio di grande diametro.
I costanti investimenti in macchinari con tecnologie di avanguardia ci
hanno permesso di tradurre le richieste dei clienti in soluzioni concrete
consentendo di affermarci sul mercato e conquistando la fiducia di una
clientela esigente e preparata.
In January 2009 we inaugurated a new production area (100,000 square
meters) in Mozzagrogna (CH) where we produce:
- medium heavy metal structural work;
- flange;
- mechanical processing;
- special pieces in steel for pipes;
- wind towers;
- steel tubes of large diameter.
Constant investment in machinery with cutting-edge technology has
allowed us to meet the requests of our clients using concrete solutions
consenting us to survive on the market and gaining trust in a demanding
and prepared clientele.

Il nostro sito di produzione è organizzato e strutturato per la realizzazione di tutti i
nostri manufatti in maniera particolare per la realizzazione di prodotti per il settore
energetico. Inoltre abbiamo a nostra disposizione presso il porto di Ortona un’area
dove poter assemblare e spedire con navi mercantili componenti di dimensioni e
pesi non trasportabili su autocarro.

Our production site is structured and organized to produce all our articles in a
particular way to realize the products for the energy sector. Furthermore, we have
at our disposition at the Port of Ortona an area where we can assemble and ship (by
merchant ship) components which are not possible to transport by lorry due to their
size and weight.

WIND TURBINES
La nostra azienda produce :
- Torri rastremate per turbine a vento;
- Fondazioni per turbine a vento.
Le torri e le fondazioni sono realizzate con lamiere in acciaio saldate con
procedimenti automatici ad arco sommerso (SAW). Tutto il personale e i
procedimenti tecnologici sono certificati secondo le norme EN ISO.
In reparti specifici vengono eseguiti pre-trattamenti specialistici tipo
granigliatura e metallizzazione con Zn, Zn-Al e trattamenti protettivi
superficiali con cicli di verniciatura.
Our company produces:
- Tapered towers for wind turbines;
- Foundation for wind turbines
The towers and foundations are made with steel sheet welded with
automatic procedures with submerged arc. All staff and technological
procedures are certified according to the EN ISO norm.
In specific divisions, special pre-treatments are implemented. For
example, shot blasting and metallization with Zn, Zn-Al and treatments
to protect the surface with cycles of paint.

PRESSURE TANKS
La nostra azienda produce:
- Serbatoi per fluidi geotermici;
- Serbatoi cilindrici per acque potabili e non;
- Serbatoi cilindrici per idrocarburi;
- Serbatoi cilindrici per deposito fanghi;
- Serbatoi a specifica richiesta del cliente.
I serbatoi sono realizzati con lamiere in acciaio saldate con procedimenti automatici
ad arco sommerso (SAW) e/o a filo continuo sotto protezione gassosa (MIG-MAG). Tutto il
personale e i procedimenti tecnologici sono certificati secondo le norme EN ISO.
In reparti specifici i manufatti previa granigliatura a metallo bianco vengono
successivamente protetti con cicli di verniciatura o metallizzazione Zn o Zn-Al.
Our company produces:
- Tanks for geothermal fluids;
- Cylindrical tanks for portable and non-portable water;
- Cylindrical tanks for hydrocarbon;
- Cylindrical tanks for mud deposit;
- Tanks on the specific request of the client.
The tanks are realized in welded steel sheet with automatic procedures with submerged
arc (SAW) and/or continuous wire under gaseous protection (MIG-MAG). All staff and
technological procedures are certified in consonance with the EN ISO norm.
In specific divisions, the articles after blasting in white metal are subsequently protected
with cycles of paint or metallization Zn or Zn-Al.

FLANGES
La nostra azienda produce:
- Giunti di dilatazione assiale;
- Giunti di smontaggio;
- Giunti Gibault;
- Cordoni e bicchieri per CAP, GHISA e PVC;
- Pezzi speciali in acciaio al carbonio e inox;
- Flangiame in acciaio fino al DN 3000.
Sono realizzati con tubi o lamiere in acciaio al carbonio o inox e saldati
con procedimenti automatici ad arco sommerso (SAW) e/o con saldatura
manuale sotto protezione gassosa(MIG-MAG). Tutto il personale e i
procedimenti tecnologici sono certificati secondo le norme EN ISO.
Our company produces:
- Expansion joints axial;
- Dismantling joints;
- Gibault joints;
- Cords and glasses for CAP, GHISA and PVC;
- Special pieces in carbon steel and inoxidizable steel;
- Flange in steel up to DN 3000.
Flanges are made with tubes or carbon steel sheet or inoxidizable steel
and welded with automatic procedures with a submerged arc (SAW) and/
or with manual welding under gaseous protection (MIG-MAG). All staff and
technological procedures are certified according to the EN ISO norm.

STEEL PIPES
La nostra azienda produce:
- Tubi di grande diametro e forte spessore;
- Condotte forzate per centrali idroelettriche;
- Curve, riduzioni, Tee, pezzi speciali di grandi dimensioni e spessori.
Sono realizzati con lamiere in acciaio saldate con procedimenti automatici ad arco
sommerso (SAW) e/o a filo continuo sotto protezione gassosa (MIG-MAG). Tutto il personale
e i procedimenti tecnologici sono certificati secondo le norme EN ISO 15614-1, EN 287-1
(ISO 9606-1), EN 1418 (ISO 14732).
In particolare le saldature vengono sottoposte a controlli NDT su specifiche richieste dai
clienti.
In reparti specifici vengono eseguiti trattamenti protettivi delle superfici mediante
applicazione di rivestimenti di tipo bituminoso, polietilenico, epossidico ed epossidico
alimentare secondo specifica del Ministero della Salute Pubblica 102/78, metallizzazione
Zn, Zn-Al o altro.
Our company produces:
- Tubes of large diameter and thickness;
- Forced pipes for hydroelectric centres;
- Curves, reductions, Tee, special pieces of large dimensions and thickness.
They are made with steel sheet welded with automatic procedures with a submerged
arc (SAW) and/or continuous wire under gaseous protection (MIG-MAG). All staff and
technological procedures are certified according to the norm EN ISO 15614-1, EN
287-1 (ISO 9606-1), EN 1418 (ISO 14732).
In particular the welding is subjected to NDT controls on the specific request of
the client. In specific divisions protective treatments of the surfaces are done by
means of applying coatings of the type bituminous, polyethylene, epoxy and epoxy
alimentary in accordance with the Ministry of Public Health 102/78, metallization Zn,
Zn-Al or other.

METAL STRUCTURES
La nostra azienda produce:
- Carpenteria medio pesante;
- Capannoni industriali;
- Ponti tubo;
- Strutture secondo specifica richiesta del cliente.
Sono realizzati con profilati IPE, HE, tubi strutturali etc. in acciaio al carbonio,
saldati con procedimento in arco sommerso (SAW) o a filo continuo sotto
protezione gassosa (MIG-MAG).
Le saldature vengono sottoposte a controlli NDT tipo VT, RT, MT e UT su
specifiche richieste dai clienti.
Le protezioni superficiali sono garantite da trattamenti con normali cicli di
verniciatura previa granigliatura a metallo bianco, zincatura a caldo o altro.
Our company produces:
- Carpentry medium heavy;
- Industrial warehouse;
- Bridge tubes;
- Structure according to the specific request of the client.
The metal structures are made with IPE, HE sections, structural tubes,
etc. in carbon steel welded with procedures in submerged arc (SAW) or a
continuous wire under gaseous protection (MIG-MAG).
The welding is subjected to NDT controls such as VT,RT, MT, and UT on the
specific request of the client.
The surface protection is guaranteed by treatments with normal cycles of
paint after blasting in white metal, galvanization or other.

QUALITY
Il nostro personale altamente qualificato si avvale di tecnici EWT, IWI, operatori NDT di
secondo e terzo livello certificati secondo le norme ASME ed EN ISO.
Tutti i processi sono monitorati con sistema di gestione della qualità secondo le norme UNI
EN ISO 9001-2008 ed UNI EN ISO 3834-2.
La nostra azienda, su specifica richiesta del cliente, è in grado di eseguire controlli NDT
sulle saldature di tipo MT, UT, RX e VT ed inoltre gli accoppiamenti flangiati possono essere
controllati con un sistema di rilevamento dimensionale 3D LASER.
Inoltre siamo certificati secondo la norma EN 1090-1 e pertanto i nostri prodotti vengono
forniti con la marcatura CE.
Our highly qualified staff use EWT, IWI, operating NDT of second and third level certificates
according to ASME and EN ISO norms. All processes are monitored by a managing system
of the quality according to the norms UNI EN ISO 9001-2008 and UNI EN ISO 3834-2.
Our company on specific request of the client, is able to perform NDT controls on the
welding of the type MT, UT, RX and VT and moreover the flange coupling can be controlled
with a system of dimensional survey 3D Laser.
Moreover, we are certified in consonance with the EN 1090-1 norm and therefore our
products are furnished with the CE branding.

Il sistema produttivo è certificato secondo le norme
UNI EN ISO 9001-2008; UNI EN ISO 3834-2 e centro di
trasformazione n. 341/10 autorizzato dal Ministero delle
Infrastrutture in conformità al DM 14/01/2008.
Siamo certificati secondo la norma EN 1090-1 e pertanto i
nostri prodotti vengono forniti con la marcatura CE.
Il controllo di qualità NDT delle saldature utilizza il sistema
VT, MT, UT e RX e tutti gli operatori sono certificati secondo le
norme ASME ed EN ISO. I nostri saldatori sono certificati EN
287 (EN ISO 9606-1) ed EN 1418 (EN ISO 14732).
Inoltre la nostra azienda si avvale di un sistema di gestione
della sicurezza sui posti di lavoro in conformità alla norma
OHSAS 18001.
The productive system is certified in accordance with the
norms ( UNI EN ISO 9001-2008); UNI EN ISO 3834-2 is the
centre of transformation n.341/10 authorized by the Ministry
of Infrastructure in consonance with DM 14/01/2008.We are
certified conforming to the norm EN 1090-1 and therefore
our products have the CE branding. The NDT quality control
of the welding uses VT, MT, UT, and RX systems and all our
operators are certified according to the ASME and EN ISO
norms.
Our welders are certified; EN 287 (EN ISO 9606-1) and EN
1418 (EN ISO 14732). Furthermore, our company uses a
safety management system at the workplace conforming
to the norm OHSAS 18001.

HISTORY
L’azienda nasce nel 1946 dalle grandi capacità del
giovane Manfredo Pugliese, che rientrato nel suo paese
di origine (Perano – Chieti) dopo il secondo conflitto
mondiale, inizia con grande passione l’attività di fabbro in
un locale in affitto di pochi metri quadrati. Le lavorazioni
sono orientate unicamente verso il settore agricolo
principalmente nella riparazione di piccoli attrezzi. Le
sue abilità lo spingono a cercare di costruire gli attrezzi
dal grezzo, ma non è facile reperire le materie prime e
questa carenza lo porta ad utilizzare perfino materiali
bellici che la guerra aveva lasciato sul territorio.
Nonostante le grandi difficoltà quotidiane, con la sua
tenacia riesce a realizzare un piccolo locale adibito ad
officina ed è qui che inizia con la sua intraprendenza a
costruire attrezzi per l’agricoltura: rimorchi agricoli fissi e
ribaltabili, erpici, estirpatoi, aratri, etc. etc.
Nasce l’Officina Meccanica Pugliese.
Nel 1960, i cambiamenti politici ed economici,
consentono all’azienda di iniziare ad operare nel settore
acquedottistico con la produzione di pezzi speciali
per condotte. Sotto la spinta delle crescenti richieste
di questo settore, sostenute dall’alta qualità delle
produzioni, l’Officina Meccanica Pugliese riesce ad
ampliare la propria area produttiva portandola a 1000 mq.
E’ negli anni ’80 però, che l’azienda investe in maniera
decisiva sul proprio futuro, sposta l’attività ad Atessa
nell’area industriale della Val di Sangro, acquista
una nuova area produttiva di 30.000 mq e realizza un
capannone di 6000 mq. Viene costituita la Pugliese
Industria Meccanica S.r.l.
Nel 2009, l’azienda affronta una nuova sfida, acquista una
nuova area produttiva di 100.000 mq. a Mozzagrogna e
realizza capannoni per un totale di 13.000 mq rivolgendo
gran parte della produzione al settore energetico.
Grazie alle capacità, all’intuizione, ai costanti investimenti
sul personale, sui macchinari e sulla tecnologia, la nostra
azienda è riuscita ad affermarsi nella produzione di tubi di
grande diametro, parti speciali per condotte in pressione,
serbatoi in pressione, lavorazioni meccaniche e torri eoliche.
The company began in 1946 with the great capability of
the young Manfredo Pugliese, who upon re-entry to his
town of origin (Perano-Chieti) after the Second World War,
began with great passion a blacksmith’s business in a
small rented space. His work was only geared towards
the agricultural sector mainly in the repairing of small
tools. His ability pushed him to build the tools from
scratch. As it was not easy to find the raw materials
needed, he was made to also use the war material that
the war had left behind on the territory.
In spite of the daily hardships, with this tenacity he was
able to realize a small place to use as a garage. This
is where he began to build agricultural equipment:
agricultural trailers fixed and reclining, harrow, grubber,
plough, etc. The Pugliese Garage was born.
In 1960, political and economic changes made the
company work in the aqueduct sector with the production
of special pieces for the pipes. Due to the growing request
in this sector (aqueduct), the Garage managed to expand
its space to 1000 sq m. It is in the 1980s though that the
company invested in its future. It moved to the industrial
area of Val di Sangro in Atessa where it purchased a
new productive area (30,000 sq m) with a 6,000 sq m
warehouse. Pugliese Industria Meccancica S.r.l. was
established. In 2009, the company was faced with another
challenge; it bought a new productive area (100,000 sq m)
in Mozzagrogna with a 13,000 sq m warehouse to focus a
large part of production on the energy sector.
Thank s to the capability, intuition, constant investment
in staff, machinery and in technology, our company has
succeeded in making a name for itself in the production
of tubes of large diameter, special parts for pressure
pipes, pressure tanks, mechanical pressing and towers
for wind turbines.
