>Un progetto che nasce dalla speciale collaborazione
tra Pitti Immagine e Milano Unica,
TASTE dedicato alla filiera del
denim italiano, alla sua naturale
proiezione internazionale
LOUNGE
e alle nuove opportunità che questo offre al mercato
globale di alta gamma, per le sue qualità uniche. In scena
un campionario dei diversi capi di abbigliamento e di
accessori a cui il denim può essere applicato: un guardaroba
appositamente realizzato da una selezione delle migliori
aziende che – tra tessitori, confezionisti, accessoristi,
ricamifici e lavanderie – rappresentano la grande filiera
italiana del denim. Una sorta di fabbrica verticale, con la
direzione artistica del fashion designer Angelo Figus, assieme
a Maurizio Brocchetto, e l’allestimento a cura di Alessandro
Moradei.

> A project produced through a special cooperation
agreement between Pitti Immagine and Milano Unica
dedicated to the production chain of Italian denim, its
international reach and the new opportunities it can offer
the high-end global market because of its unique qualities.
A various “denim-suitable” garments and accessories’
showcase: items from a wardrobe specifically created for
the project by a group of the best makers – textile mills,
clothing and accessory manufacturers, embroidery shops
and laundries – that represent the great Italian denim
chain. A sort of vertical factory, under the artistic direction
of fashion designer Angelo Figus, together with Maurizio
Brocchetto, and designed by Alessandro Moradei.

visitors to the fair. It is an opportunity for buyers, designers and style
bureau of the world’s most famous fashion brands that have long
been coming to Pitti Immagine Filati. An initiative that stimulates
thoughts and greater, more advanced integration of the entire
production chain, held exactly the right time on the international
calendar for the knitwear industry.

> Si evolve per definizione la struttura dello Spazio Ricerca,
centro di tutte le espressioni legate alla creatività. Osservatorio
sperimentale dove vengono analizzate e lanciate le tendenze, lo
Spazio Ricerca di Pitti Filati 75 esplora con MADE IN, tema
e titolo di questa stagione, il valore aggiunto del certificato di
qualità di un prodotto fatto secondo le tradizioni con il più alto
contenuto artigianale possibile, utilizzando i materiali più nobili
e le tecnologie più avanzate. Un viaggio nella rintracciabilità
culturale che valorizza le specificità produttive nazionali,
regionali e locali. Un branding dei luoghi, delle tecniche e delle
materie prime esclusive di regioni, città, quartieri, vie: prodotti,
cibi, musica, esperienze evocative di un lifestyle inimitabile.
Dieci mood-guida sulla base dei quali costruire il proprio
“made in” personale. Con la direzione artistica del fashion
designer Angelo Figus e dell’esperta in maglieria Nicola Miller e
l’allestimento di Alessandro Moradei.

> Evolution and change are the intrinsic features of the
Spazio Ricerca, the fulcrum of all creative expression at the fair.
The Spazio Ricerca is the experimental observatory where trends
are analyzed and launched, and, at Pitti Filati 75, with MADE
IN as the title-theme, it will explore the added value of the
quality certification of a product made according to traditional
methods with the highest possible craft-content while using the
finest methods and most advanced technologies. MADE IN is a
journey through the cultural traceability that promotes national,
regional and local specificities. It is a branding – of places,
techniques and raw materials exclusive to those regions, cities,
neighborhoods, and streets: products, foods, music, experiences
that call up an inimitable lifestyle. Ten mood-themes will be
the basis for creating a personal “made in”. Presented under the
artistic direction of fashion designer Angelo Figus and knitwear
expert Nicola Miller; setting by Alessandro Moradei.

> Dopo il successo delle prime due edizioni, KnitClub – lo
spazio di Pitti Immagine Filati che vede protagonisti i maglifici
di qualità - amplia il proprio respiro. KnitClub nasce per
raccogliere una sempre più importante e qualificata selezione
nazionale e internazionale di aziende capaci di interpretare le
volontà tecniche e creative dei visitatori del salone. Una nuova
opportunità di confronto commerciale tra i maglifici espositori
e i buyer, i designer e gli uffici stile dei più famosi brand
internazionali di moda che frequentano da sempre Pitti Filati.
Un progetto che alimenta idee e favorisce una più avanzata
integrazione di tutta la filiera produttiva organizzata nei tempi
del calendario internazionale più consoni per il settore della
maglieria. Tra i nomi presenti: Mely’s, Shima Seiki Italia, Fuzzi,
Clouds, Duvet, Teodori, Pini, FMG.

> Ping Pitti Pong è il tema-guida di Pitti Filati 75 e parlerà
di sport puntando alla sua forma più essenziale e quasi-zen (oltre
che senza età, genere o stagione). Espressione di lifestyle e sintesi
degli elementi fondamentali di ogni disciplina sportiva, il ping
pong unisce movimento fisico e concentrazione mentale, velocità
e destrezza tecnica, agonismo e piacere. Con Ping Pitti Pong,
Pitti rappresenta, in chiave ironica e in maniera sempre unica, il
mondo contemporaneo attraverso la lente dello sport e il suo fitto
intreccio con la moda, l’infinita partita in cui ogni volta la risposta
è diversa, il risultato incerto, la strategia e l’esito finale cambiano.

> Ping Pitti Pong is the title-theme of Pitti Filati 75 that
will focus on the simplest, almost-Zen aspect of sports (without
limits on age, gender or season). Ping pong perfectly embodies the
lifestyle and essential elements common to every sport: physical
movement and mental concentration, speed and technical skill,
competitiveness and fun. With Ping Pitti Pong, Pitti will portray
the contemporary world through sport and its extremely close ties
with fashion, the endless game where each response is different,
the results uncertain and the strategy and final outcome change
constantly. A project curated by Oliviero Baldini.

- the Pitti Immagine Filati section showcasing quality knitting
mills – will broaden its scope. KnitClub was created to present
an increasingly important and select group of Italian and
international knitting mills capable of interpreting our visitors’
technical and creative desires. It offers yet another opportunity
for “market encounters” among knitwear manufacturers and
buyers, designers and the style bureaus of the world’s most
famous names in fashion that have long been coming to Pitti
Filati. KnitClub, a program that stimulates ideas and supports
more advanced integration of the entire production chain, is
presented at exactly the right time for the international knitwear

DENIM ITALIANO - IT ALIAN DENIM MAKERS
> Denim Italiano: Italian Denim Makers è un progetto
che nasce dalla speciale collaborazione tra Pitti Immagine e
Milano Unica, dedicato alla filiera del capo lavato italiano,alla
sua naturale proiezione internazionale e alle nuove opportunità
che questo offre al mercato globale di alta gamma, per le
sue qualità uniche. Denim Italiano sarà una sorta di fabbrica
verticale, realizzata tra il Piano Terra e il Piano Inferiore del
Padiglione Centrale, con la direzione artistica del fashion
designer Angelo Figus con Maurizio Brocchetto e l’allestimento
a cura di Alessandro Moradei. In scena un campionario dei
diversi capi di abbigliamento e degli accessori a cui il denim
può essere applicato: saranno esposti i pezzi di un guardaroba
appositamente realizzato da una selezione delle migliori aziende
che – tra tessitori, confezionisti, accessoristi, ricamifici e
lavanderie – rappresentano la grande filiera italiana del denim.

> Denim Italiano: Italian Denim Makers is a project
produced through a special cooperation agreement between
Pitti Immagine and Milano Unica dedicated to the production
chain of Italian denim, its international reach and the new
opportunities it can offer the high-end global market because
of its unique qualities. Denim Italiano will be a sort of vertical
factory, set up between the Ground Floor and Lower Level
of the Main Pavilion under the artistic direction of fashion
designer Angelo Figus with Maurizio Brocchetto and designed
by Alessandro Moradei. It will showcase various “denimsuitable” garments and accessories: items from a wardrobe
specifically created for the project by a group of the best
makers – textile mills, clothing and accessory manufacturers,
embroidery shops and laundries – that represent the great
Italian denim chain.

Futuribile, focalizzata sul tema dell’interazione, aspetto

ai quattro designer coinvolti di sviluppare una ricerca trasversale
e interdisciplinare, dando vita a quattro mini capsule collection
di circa 3/5 capi ognuna. Il progetto Moda Futuribile, a cura di
Dyloan Studio, si propone di valorizzare le eccellenze del sistema
moda, sviluppando e presentando in occasione di eventi specifici
una serie di manufatti, espressione del know how e delle sinergie

FEEL THE YARN
> Al via la quinta edizione di Feel the Yarn, il concorso
dedicato agli aspiranti stilisti provenienti da una selezione tra le
migliori scuole di moda internazionali e finalizzato ad ampliare la
creatività espressa dai filati prodotti dalle più qualificate filature
toscane. Un progetto nato dalla collaborazione tra Regione
Toscana, Toscana Promozione, Consorzio Promozione Filati,
Elementi Moda e Pitti Immagine. A metà strada tra il progetto
formativo e il concorso, Feel the Yarn entra nel vivo della fiera:
si sfideranno proprio a Pitti Filati, su un tema che prenderà
spunto dallo Spazio Ricerca, gli studenti provenienti dalle più
importanti scuole di fashion design del mondo, con una proposta
di capi progettati e fatti a maglia usando i filati forniti dalle
aziende toscane.

> We salute the fifth edition of Feel the Yarn, the
competition for aspiring designers from the world’s finest
fashion schools which aims at expanding the creativity of yarns
manufactured by the best mills in Tuscany. This project is the
result of the collaboration between Regione Toscana, Toscana
Promozione, Consorzio Promozione Filati, Elementi Moda and
Pitti Immagine. Half training program, half competition, Feel
the Yarn gets right to the heart of the Pitti Filati where students
from the most important fashion design schools in the world,
will take up the challenge of presenting their proposals for
garments designed to a theme inspired by the Spazio Ricerca and
knitted with yarns provided by Tuscan yarn mills.

> The first edition of Moda Futuribile will be staged at
Pitti Filati and will focus on the subject of interactivity, a
fundamental aspect of feasible future fashion. The interaction
between craftsmanship, technology, materials and know-how
will allow the four designers involved to develop across-theboard and interdisciplinary research that leads to the creation of
four mini capsule collections. The Moda Futuribile project by
Dyloan Studio aims to maximize the excellence of the fashion
system, developing and presenting a series of manufactured items
for specific special events that express the synergies of know-how
and design created between the actors involved.

stilistica vintage. Laboratorio di ricerca che guarda alla moda del
passato e sterminato archivio da cui i designer di oggi traggono
suggestioni creative, Vintage Selection coinvolgerà espositori e
pubblico con una ricca serie di novità. Un vero e proprio festival
della cultura vintage che offrirà occasioni di shopping, sorpresa e
intrattenimento.
