Food , Land, Identity, Good and Bad Practices (University of Calabria, Arcavacata di Rende (CS), 3-5 ottobre 2014) http://assmedcal2014.unical.it/index.php/en/ CALL FOR PAPERS Scholars and researchers of sociology of tourism, or related disciplines, are invited to attend the conference as well as also to submit a possible report within one of the following sessions in which the works of the conference will be organized: 1) Wine and food pathways: food as a tourist product 2) Old and new tourist areas: local development strategies 3) Tourism as a factor of identity: new trends in demand 4) Good and bad tourist practices: a new quality of life Those interested should register (starting from 9 June, 2014) and enter the abstract of any proposed report (the abstract can be inserted up to 27 July, 2014) by filling the form available on the Internet address: http://assmedcal2014.unical.it/index.php/en Through the same Internet address, participants who produced an abstract will be able to enter (from 7 October to 31 December 2014) the full text (paper) of the report (from min. 15,000 to max. 40,000 characters). Abstracts and papers can be written in the following languages: Italian, Spanish, French and English . For participation in the conference is expected to pay a registration fee: a) equal to 90,00 € per person making the payment by 27 July 2014; b) equal to 150,00 € per person making the payment during the period from 28 July to 15 September 2014. For college and/or courses of high qualification students, the registration fee for the conference is equal to 20,00 € (which may also be paid upon arrival at the conference).
