Settore Meccanico.
Mechanical Sector.
Nell’industria meccanica i pavimenti devono essere resistenti
all’uso, alle sollecitazioni meccaniche, agli agenti chimici,
alle abrasioni e di facile pulizia.
Le caratteristiche principali di un rivestimento nel settore
meccanico o in generale industriale riguardano le sue
capacità di resistenza alla compressione, all’usura, all’urto e la
sua polverosità, planarità, durata nel tempo e manutenzione.
L’assenza di fughe ne facilita inoltre la manutenzione e la
pulizia. Questi pavimenti devono possedere una resistenza
tale da assorbire i carichi di lavoro.
Il sottofondo viene preparato di norma mediante pallinatura,
fresatura e molatura assicurando un’aderenza meccanica
ottimale con il sistema di rivestimento scelto.
Sul sottofondo preparato meccanicamente viene posato uno
strato di livellamento, il cui spessore dipende dalla planarità
nonché dai requisiti funzionali.
Lo spessore del rivestimento del pavimento varia da 1 a
10 mm. Al termine della lavorazione il rivestimento del
pavimento raggiunge la sua stabilità definitiva e la sua
resistenza chimica - fisica ottimale, risultando così, in
pochissimo tempo, completamente in grado di sostenere la
sollecitazione richiesta. L’esecuzione di un rivestimento con
caratteristiche di antisdrucciolo specifiche per le lavorazioni
e l’utilizzo di variazioni cromatiche permette di migliorare
considerevolmente la sicurezza dell’ambiente di lavoro con
un buon aspetto estetico.
In the mechanical industry floorings must stand wear,
mechanical solicitations, chemical agents, abrasions and
must be easy to clean.
The main characteristics of a coating in the mechanical
sector or, more in general, in the industrial sector concern its
resistance to compression, wear and strokes.
Moreover, some considerations must be done as regards
the fact it is dusty, plan, lasting and it requires an easy
maintenance.
The lack of spacing makes maintenance and cleaning easier.
These floorings must bear heavy workloads.
The foundation is normally prepared through peening, milling
and grinding, thus assuring an excellent mechanical adhesion
with the system chosen.
A levelling layer whose thickness varies according to planarity
and functional characteristics is placed on the foundation.
The thickness of the coating varies from 1 to 10 mm.
Once the working process is completed, the coating reaches
its perfect stability and chemical-physical resistance and can
therefore bear the required solicitations.
The execution of a coating with anti-slip features specific
for locations intended for production cycles and the use of
chromatic variations allow to improve industrial safety and
assuring a good aesthetical appearance at the same time.

La caratteristica principale, comune a tutte le tipologie di
rivestimenti continui per pavimenti, è la totale assenza di
giunzioni.
Questa particolarità, al termine della posa, presenta un’unica
superficie molto più gestibile in termini di pulizia e igiene
rispetto ad una pavimentazione tradizionale.
La scelta del giusto rivestimento per pavimenti è tutt’altro che
scontata, ma anzi richiede molta attenzione.
Infatti, ogni ambiente - a seconda dell’uso a cui è destinato
- necessita di superfici con proprietà differenti, determinate
dalle diverse sollecitazioni chimiche, fisiche, meccaniche o
strutturali da sostenere.
La prima domanda che ogni Cliente dovrebbe porsi è la
seguente: “In quale ambito opera la mia azienda?”
Grazie all’ampia gamma di rivestimenti delle linee IPM Italia

The main characteristic common to all types of floor continuous
coatings is the total absence of joints.
This allows to obtain a unique surface after laying with an
easier management in terms of cleaning and hygiene in
comparison with traditional floorings.

Le aree destinate all’industria metalmeccanica sono soggette
ad elevate resistenze chimico-fisiche.
Particolarmente importante è la resistenza alla punzonatura
dinamica e statica in quanto i manufatti o parti di essi sono
normalmente molto pesanti e soggetti a cadute frequenti.
Non meno importante è la resistenza all’abrasione e chimica
per la presenza di olii, grassi e liquidi di processo.
Premises intended for engineering industry must own a great
chemical-physical resistance.
Resistance to dynamic and static punching is fundamental since finished products or parts of them are normally very heavy
and subjected to frequent falling. Resistance to abrasion and
chemical aggression due to the presence of oils, fats and liquid processes is very important as well.

L’industria della Carpenteria si distingue in leggera e pesante.

punzonatura dinamica. Nel complesso è limitata la differenza
di sollecitazioni tra le due tipologie.
Carpentry industry must be divided into light carpentry and
heavy carpentry. Solicitations are generally of physical nature
due to the presence of metal dusts and shavings.
Therefore resistance to abrasion and dynamic punching is
very important. In general, there are not many differences
among the two industry types as regards solicitations.

Si intendono quelle industrie che si occupano di assemblare
manufatti semi-lavorati con necessità di operare in ambienti
facilmente pulibili, ordinati e di gradevole aspetto estetico.

medie e raramente soggette a resistenze chimiche.

assembly of semifinished products that requires premises very

Carraro Drive Tech Spa (Gorizia)
Carraro è un gruppo internazionale leader nei sistemi per
la trasmissione di potenza altamente efficienti ed ecocompatibili, con sedi produttive in Italia, India, Argentina,
Cina, Germania, Polonia e Stati Uniti. Il cliente, aveva
necessità di trasformare una parte del vecchio stabilimento
adibito a magazzino di pezzi meccanici in zona produzione.
Carraro is an international group leader in the sector of systems
for power transmission, very effective and echo-compatible,
with production plants based in Italy, India, Argentina, China,
Germany, Polland and United States.
The client needed to transform a part of the old plant used
as a storehouse for mechanical parts into a production area.
Per prima cosa ha dovuto smantellare una serie di scaffalature
metalliche che erano fissate a terra, creare una serie di
uffici da posizionare sul perimetro, ed infine rinnovare la
pavimentazione in modo da poter posizionare dei nuovi
macchinari. Il supporto in cls, una volta smantellato il
magazzino, si presentò particolarmente ammalorata, c’erano
parecchi punti dove l’olio idraulico era penetrato nel cemento,
zone dove lo strato superficiale era venuto a mancare per via
dell’usura e gli inerti del cls erano in evidenza; zone dove la
planarità era fortemente disomogenea.
As a first thing, it was necessary to dismantle a series of
metal shelves that were fixed to the ground floor to create an
ensemble of offices to be positioned on its perimeter and to
recover the floor in order to set up new machinery.
After clearing out storehouses, the concrete support was very
damaged since there were many points in which hydraulic oil
penetrated into cement, areas where the superficial layer no
longer existed due to wear and tear and inerts were visible.
Moreover, in some areas flatness was completely absent.
L’unica possibilità, dunque, era il ripristino del pavimento
mediante un sistema epossidico ad alto spessore, il Sistema
Basic Systempox.
Si è proceduto quindi con la fresatura del supporto in cls
ed il successivo riempimento con malta di resina di buchi
particolarmente grandi; è stato applicato anche, nelle zone
particolarmente intrise di olio, un apposito Primer per fondi
inquinati; poi è stato realizzato il massetto epossidico tirato a
staggia ed elicotterato al fine di ridare alla pavimentazione
una consistenza e planarità tali da poter supportare il peso di
grandi macchine utensili, il passaggio di muletti e carrelli e il
peso ed il trascinamento di cassoni di ferro.
Infine sono stati applicati i due strati di finitura epossidica
colorata realizzando così delle aree di lavoro di colore
grigio, delle corsie di passaggio carrelli di colore azzurro, e
delle corsie rosse quali percorsi pedonali.
A cavallo dei vari colori, sono state realizzate le righe di
delimitazione gialle e bianche.
The sole possible solution in such a case was to recover
the flooring by means of an epoxy system such as Basic
Systempox System applied as a thick film.
The concrete support was subjected to milling and further
filling of big holes with resinous mortar; in the areas with great
presence of oil a specific primer for polluted foundations was
applied as well; after this the epoxy mix coating system was
applied by means of a shaft and smoothed in order to give the
flooring a consistency and a flatness able to bear the weight
of heavy machinery, the transit of forklift trucks and trolleys and
that of the dragging of large iron cases.
Moreover, two layers of coloured epoxy finish were applied,
thus realizing some grey working areas, some blue transit
passages for trolleys and some red passages for pedestrian
traffic.
Between one colour and another some yellow and white limit
lines were drawn.

soluzioni di sgusci perimetrali:

In order to meet frequent requests of cleaning and flatness IPM
Italia suggests two solutions of perimetrical gauges:
SguscioPlast - Elastoplastico realizzato direttamente con
formulati in pasta nelle varie misure, con un raggio di 2,3,5
cm e successivamente riverniciabile con la stessa tonalità del
pavimento.
SguscioPlast - realized with paste formulas available in
different sizes, radius diameter 2,3,5 cm that can be then
painted with the same colour of the floor.
Sguscio System - Speciali sgusci prefabbricati in
vetroresina con zoccolatura ad altezza variabile in grado di
coprire disomogeneità di pareti e fornire resistenza ai colpi
generati da trans pallet e dai carrelli, il raggio è disponibile
solo da 2 cm. Colore in tinta col pavimento.
Sguscio System - Special prefabricated gauges made of
plastic reinforced by incorporated fiberglass with wainscot at
a variable height able to cover fissures, holes on walls and to
resist to strokes caused by trolleys and transpallets. Available
ray: 2 cm. Colour that match the floor.
