Igor Imhoff (1976, San Giovanni Rotondo), lavora nell'ambito dell'animazione sperimentale
cinematografica ed elettronica e svolge attività di docenza nell'ambito della progettazione
multimediale. Con i suoi lavori ha ricevuto diversi riconoscimenti, sia in Italia che all'estero.
Igor Imhoff (1976, San Giovanni Rotondo), works in experimental film and electronic animation
and teaches multimedia design. He has received several awards for his work, both in Italy and
abroad.
Sinossi/Synopsis
Igor Imhoff ha creato in Planets (trad. it. Pianeti) un mondo magico dal sapore antico: in una infinita
carrellata all'indietro si alternano paesaggi lunari, animali mitologici, fuochi e nebbie, intemperie,
porte che si aprono e si chiudono, rituali collettivi, girovaganti e avventurosi personaggi stilizzati.
With Planets Igor Imhoff has created a magical world with an ancient flavour: an infinite backward
sequence of images shows lunar landscapes, mythological animals, fire and fog, storms, doors
that open and close, collective rituals, roamers and adventurous stylised characters.
