The Vincent Siret-Courtaud estate produces
Quincy and Châteaumeillant appellation
wines.
Quincy is a vineyard covering 220 hectares planted
near Sancerre in the Loire Valley. AOC QUINCY was
recognised in 1936. Châteaumeillant extends over
90 hectares. This is the most central appellation of
France. In 2010 it obtained AOC and is recognised for
its red and Gris wines.
The vines produce highly complex wines. The oldest
date back to 1945. Planting grass enables us to carry
out integrated vine management and control yields.
The grape varieties comprise Sauvignon (Quincy),
Gamay and Pinot Noir (Châteaumeillant).

appellations Quincy et Châteaumeillant.
The wines are made in a modern storeroom in keeping
with tradition, with temperatures closely controlled to preserve
all the aromas of the wines. For the red and gris wines,
harvesting is carried out by hand. The grapes are taken to the
cellar and then sorted through carefully.
Quincy est un vignoble de 220 hectares situé proche de
Sancerre en vallée de la Loire. L’AOC Quincy fut reconnue en 1936.
Châteaumeillant s’étend sur 90 hectares. C’est l’appellation la
plus centrale de France. Elle a obtenu l’AOC en 2010 et est
reconnue pour ses vins rouges mais aussi pour son Gris.

Les vignes offrent des vins d’une grande complexité. Les
plus anciennes datent de 1945. Un enherbement permet de
raisonner la conduite et de maîtriser les rendements.
L’encépagement est composé de Sauvignon (Quincy), de
Gamay et de Pinot Noir (Châteaumeillant).
Les vinifications se font dans un chai moderne, de
façon traditionnelle, avec un contrôle maîtrisé des
températures afin de conserver tous les arômes des
vins. Pour les rouges et le gris, les vendanges sont
réalisées manuellement. Les raisins sont acheminés
à la cave puis triés rigoureusement.

Het domein Vincent Siret-Courtaud produceert
wijnen met de appellaties Quincy en
Châteaumeillant.
Quincy is een wijngaard van 220 hectaren nabij
Sancerre in de Loirevallei. De AOC Quincy werd in
1936 erkend. Châteaumeillant strekt zich uit over
90 hectaren. Het is de meest centrale appellatie in
Frankrijk. Zij verkreeg de AOC in 2010 en wordt
erkend voor haar rode wijn en haar Chateaumeillant
Gris.
De wijngaard produceert wijnen met een grote
complexiteit. De oudste wijnstokken dateren van 1945.
Dankzij de groenbemesting van de grond kan men
de juiste teelttechnieken hanteren en de opbrengst van
de wijngaard beheren. De wijngaard is samengesteld uit
Sauvignon (Quincy), Gamay en Pinot Noir (Châteaumeillant).
Das Weingut Vincent Siret-Courtaud stellt Weine der
Herkunftsbezeichnungen Quincy und Châteaumeillant her.
Quincy ist ein 220 Hektar großes Weingebiet, das in der Nähe von
Sancerre im Loiretal liegt. Quincy wurde 1936 als kontrollierte
Herkunftsbezeichnung (AOC) anerkannt. Châteaumeillant liegt
genau in der Mitte Frankreichs und erstreckt sich auf 90 Hektar.
2010 wurde auch diesem Gebiet die kontrollierte
Herkunftsbezeichnung AOC zuerkannt. Besonderer Beliebtheit
erfreuen sich die Rotweine, aber auch die mit dem Weißherbst
vergleichbaren „grauen" Weine.
Die Reben bieten das Potential für sehr komplexe Weine. Die
ältesten Rebstöcke wurden 1945 gepflanzt. Die Weinberge
werden umweltverträglich bewirtschaftet, Begrünung sorgt
für begrenzte Erträge. Der Rebsortenbestand setzt sich aus
Sauvignon (Quincy), Gamay und Pinot Noir (Châteaumeillant)
zusammen.
Der Ausbau erfolgt nach traditionellen Methoden in einer
modernen Kellerei. Die kontrollierte Temperaturregelung
schont die subtilen Aromen des Weins. Die Trauben für die
Bereitung der grauen Weine und der Rotweine werden
handverlesen. N ach der Lese werden die Trauben in der
Kellerei sorgfältig sortiert.

De wijngisting gebeurt in een moderne wijnkelder, op
traditionele wijze, met temperatuurcontrole om alle aroma’s
van de wijn te bewaren. Voor de rode wijn en de
Chateaumeillant Gris wordt er manueel geplukt. De druiven
worden vervolgens naar de kelder gebracht en uiterst
nauwkeurig geselecteerd.
