Dagelijks stromen tienduizenden mensen Haarlemmermeer in en uit.
De centrale ligging tussen Amsterdam en Den Haag in combinatie met
de aanwezigheid van de internationale luchthaven Schiphol maakt
Haarlemmermeer tot economische motor. Als kloppend hart van de
Randstad is Haarlemmermeer een plek voor nieuwe ideeën, innovatieve
bedrijvigheid, cultureel ondernemerschap en bijzondere woonmilieus.
Tens of thousands of people pass through Haarlemmermeer daily. Its central
position between Amsterdam and Den Haag combined with the presence
of Schiphol, the international airport, makes Haarlemmermeer an economic

In Hoofddorp staat sinds 2011 Het Cultuurgebouw:
dé spraakmakende en dynamische culturele ontmoetingsplek van
Haarlemmermeer, waar de beleving van de bezoeker altijd centraal staat.

In Het Cultuurgebouw zijn vier culturele organisaties met elkaar verbonden: Poppodium Duycker, Schouwburg De Meerse, Bibliotheek
Haarlemmermeer en Pier K. Met het gezellige Duyckercafé en het
moderne restaurant – grand café Première, is ook de horeca sterk
vertegenwoordigd binnen Het Cultuurgebouw.
Within Het Cultuurgebouw, there are four cultural venues that are interlinked:
Pop podium Duycker, De Meerse Theatre, Haarlemmermeer library and
Pier K. With the atmospheric Duyckercafé and modern restaurant – grand
café Première, the hospitality industry is also well represented within
Het Cultuurgebouw.
Gezamenlijk hebben deze uiteenlopende instellingen de ervaring en de
ruimten om ieder evenement tot een succes te maken. Als je op zoek bent

Algemene faciliteiten
Het Cultuurgebouw biedt alle faciliteiten die je nodig hebt. Zo is er een groot aantal
multifunctionele ruimten, met ieder hun eigen karakteristieke, inspirerende sfeer.
Hiernaast wordt er met restaurant – grand café Première en het Duyckercafé catering op maat geleverd; van een lopend buffet tot een uitgebreid driegangendiner.
De catering is hiermee volledig in eigen beheer en dat betekent dat de kwaliteit
optimaal gewaarborgd blijft.
Ook op technisch gebied biedt Het Cultuurgebouw zeer veel mogelijkheden.
Het gehele gebouw beschikt over gratis Wi-Fi en er is een professioneel team
van technici aanwezig. Een team dat kan helpen om op technisch gebied alles
goed te regelen.
Bereikbaarheid
Het Cultuurgebouw is zeer goed bereikbaar. Er zijn parkeergarages naast de
deur, treinstation Hoofddorp ligt op een kwartier lopen en bushalte Hoofddorp
Centrum op drie minuten loopafstand. Ook voor internationale bezoekers ligt
Het Cultuurgebouw ideaal: luchthaven Schiphol is slechts één treinstation,
een korte busrit of tien minuten met de auto verwijderd.

General facilities
Het Cultuurgebouw offers all the facilities that you could need.
As such there is a large number of multi-functional areas, each with
its own characteristic, inspiring atmosphere. In addition restaurant –
grand café Première and the Duyckercafé provide bespoke catering;
from a buffet to an elaborate three course dinner. The catering is
fully managed in-house, which means quality is guaranteed.
Het Cultuurgebouw also offers a wealth of technical facilities.
The entire building has free WiFi and there is an excellent team
of technicians to help where needed.
Accessibility
Het Cultuurgebouw is very easily accessible. There are car parkings
in the neighbourhood, the Hoofddorp train station is a fifteen minute
walk away and the bus stop to the Centre of Hoofddorp is within a
three minute walking distance. It’s also easy for international visitors
to get to Het Cultuurgebouw: Schiphol airport is just one stop by
train, a short bus journey or ten minutes by car.

Grote theaterzaal
De grote zaal in Schouwburg De Meerse
biedt ruimte aan 520 personen. In deze
sfeervolle en intieme ruimte waan je je
direct in uitgaanssfeer. De vele lampen
en rode pluche zorgen voor een warme
uitstraling. Een evenement in de grote
theaterzaal is zeer goed te combineren
met subsessies in de kleinere zalen en
vergaderzalen.
Kleine theaterzaal
De kleine zaal in Schouwburg De Meerse
biedt op de tribune zitruimte voor 280
personen. Wanneer de tribune is ingeschoven, biedt de totale ruimte plek aan
maximaal 400 personen.
Podiumzaal
De Podiumzaal in Pier K is met 155
comfortabele stoelen zeer geschikt
voor presentaties, lezingen, films en
optredens.

Large theatre hall
The large hall in De Meerse theatre
offers space for 520 people. In this
atmospheric and intimate space
you immediately get a sense of
luxury. The numerous lamps and
red plush, together create a warm
atmosphere. An event in the large
theatre hall can be combined with
sub sessions in the smaller halls
and meeting rooms.
Small theatre hall
The small hall in De Meerse
theatre offers a seating area for
280 people. When the stands are
retracted, the total available space
offers room for up to 400 people.
Podium hall
The Podium hall in Pier K has
155 comfortable chairs and is well
suited for presentations, readings,
films and performances.
Grote concertzaal
De grote concertzaal in Duycker is op
verschillende manieren in te delen. Zo
is een theateropstelling of een schoolopstelling mogelijk voor 200 personen
en een receptie-opstelling met statafels
voor 750 personen.
Kleine concertzaal
Ook de kleine concertzaal in Duycker is
op verschillende manieren in te delen.
Hier is een theateropstelling mogelijk
voor 50 personen, een carré-opstelling
voor 15 personen en een receptie-opstelling met statafels voor 250 personen.

Vergaderzalen
Er is ook een groot aantal verschillende vergaderzalen,
verspreid door het gehele Cultuurgebouw. Deze zalen
dienen tevens in combinatie met de grote of kleine
theaterzaal zeer goed als subruimte.

In Het Cultuurgebouw zijn verschillende horecavoorzieningen aanwezig om uw culinaire wensen in te
kunnen vullen.
Restaurant — grand café Première
Je kunt je evenement combineren met een gezellige
lunch of een heerlijk diner bij Première. Op de vide
van het restaurant kun je terecht voor bijvoorbeeld een
bedrijfsborrel of zakelijke lunch. De vide is een lichte,
open ruimte met uitzicht op het restaurant en het plein.
Duyckercafé
Het Duyckercafé biedt ruimte aan 130 personen, voor
bijvoorbeeld een gezellige borrel of receptie. Het café
heeft een eigen podium en faciliteiten om beginnend
talent, of concerten die wat kleinschaliger van opzet
zijn, te presenteren.

Restaurant — grand café Première
You can combine your event with a good lunch or
a delicious dinner at Première. The restaurant’s
mezzanine is, for example, well suited to a business
drink or lunch. The mezzanine is a light, open space
with a view of the restaurant and the square.
Duyckercafé
The Duyckercafé offers space for 130 people,
for example to host a reception. The café has its
own podium and facilities to present young talent
or concerts for a smaller audience.
