Maastricht plaatsvindt.
Het congresprogramma
kent dit jaar als thema
Sportgerelateerde letsels.
Zoals elk jaar staan een
aantal programma onder
Henk Koot
delen vast. De donderdag
vangt aan met het Symposium Fundamenteel Onder
zoek Orthopedie en zal worden afgesloten met alweer
de vierde uitreiking van de Professor Rik Huiskesprijs.
Wij zijn bijzonder verheugd dat prof. dr. Marcel Levi,
voorzitter van de Raad van Bestuur van het AMC
en decaan Faculteit Geneeskunde UvA, ons NOV
Jaarcongres 2015 daarna officieel zal openen. Als
voorzitter van de NOV zal ondergetekende de Jaar
rede uitspreken. In het bijzonder voor de donderdag
zijn ook de voorzitters van onze zusterverenigingen
binnen de Nordic Orthopaedic Federation (NOF)
en van het Verenigd Koninkrijk, België en Duitsland
uitgenodigd. Juist daarom is er ook voor gekozen om
tijdens de donderdag Engels als voertaal te gebruiken.
Het vrijdagprogramma kent een groot aantal zeer
interessante vrije voordrachten, overzichtslezingen en
natuurlijk onze Algemene Ledenvergadering. In de
middag wordt het NOV Jaarcongres 2015 afgesloten
met een mix van invited speakers en vrije voordrach
ten.
Wij danken en feliciteren de Commissie voor het
Wetenschappelijk Werk (CWW), die onder voorzitter
schap van prof. dr. Harrie Weinans een uitstekend
programma heeft samengesteld.
Uw bijzondere aandacht wordt gevraagd voor de
diverse sociale activiteiten. Het NOV bestuur is er van
overtuigd u voor de donderdag- en vrijdagavond een
prachtig programma aan te kunnen bieden. Wij zijn
benieuwd hoe u dit gaat ervaren.
