DD-BLOWERS
Lau "direct drive" blowers are entirely in our factory assembled.
The houses are made of galvanized steel sheet of 1 mm. thick, the
impeller be composed of two convex-shaped discs with hub and with
continuous forward curved blades and is
dynamically balanced.
The motors are 3 or 4 point suspended in neoprene rubber and are
suitable for speed control by means of a 5-step transformer.
The blowers are suitable for air from -20 °C to 50 °C.
Motors are 230 V. 1 phase 50Hz. Or 230/400 V. 50 Hz. 3phase.
Class F insulation and IP 54.

DD blowers in closet
Lau "Direct Drive" blowers also in a cabinet
are built. When the blower without
filter is used, then the cabinet form a cubic,
so all sides are equal.
In the application of a pre-filter, the cabinets
rectangular. The filter used by us
flat and in V-shape, which is space-saving with a
large surface area. When used outdoors on the roof
, the upper lid on all sides 100 mm. greater,
this is to prevent penetrate. The pipe material used is aluminum with plastic corners, the panels are standard
galvanized, but also to deliver zincor, aluminum, or stainless steel skin plate.
The blower is resiliently mounted so that there is no direct connection to the outer casing is, in order to
prevent excessive noise. The cabinet can be insulated or uninsulated delivered.
If installed outdoors, outside air intake, or high demands on the noise the fan unit must always be insulated
in order to prevent condensation forming on the other hand against noise. If installed outdoors is on the
bladder or suction side a rain cover with bird netting.

Control Transformers DD blowers
As already mentioned, we recommend direct driven fans with built-in motor type DD
do settle with a 5-step transformer, manual or automatic thermostat.
We deliver the items shown below transformers in IP54 enclosure with a rotary switch
0 position and indicator light.
The transformers are suitable for 230 V, 50 Hz. One phase and the control range is approximately
from 140-230 volts secondary. Other voltages are available.
In the application of a fully automatic operation, the transformer arrangement is a rotary switch with
a 0-position and an A-mode automatic with a 4-stage thermostat.
In the application of a thermostat, one must ensure that it is suitable for 230 volts.

Blowers in "Twin" version
In this version two blowers are assembled through comics or a Cubic Frame and 1 shaft.
Both sides are provided with a key shaft and the benefit of a pulley.
You can indicate the drive side yourself.
The drive side blower gets two bearings, the other blower is equipped with one bearing.
Furthermore, you can specify the spacing (M / G).

BELT DRIVEN BLOWERS
Lau V-belt driven blowers are in the same manner
manufactured if the DD-series.
The standard version is suitable for air of about 50 °C.
With special bearings mounted to even 100 °C.
There are several versions, with motor built,
with cubik frame, U-profile frame with the motor behind
built, in duplicate or triplicate execution.
The blower can also be supplied in a box for indoor or outdoor installation.
The applied Ina bearings with neoprene seal and the
Ceax shaft ensure smooth, quiet operation.
If you build up the blower in a closet by yourself, you have to think
about the "side wall clerance," the reservoir between house and
closet is sufficient. When assembling two blowers on a shaft,
duplicate type, three bearings are used, the side to be driven is the side
with two bearings inside the snail shell.

BUILT-IN CABINET TYPE A
The motor for Lau V-belt driven blower can
be mounted in two ways.
Behind the blower with a slide rail, a bottom frame
is then necessary, or with a motor bracket on the blower.
This method of installation is possible up to the model 15/15.
The assembly with motorbracket is very space saving.
On the inside there are reinforcement plates
weld nuts, by means of up and down adjust
the V-belt tensioned.
Two adjustment screws with rubber stopper pressing the
house and on this place is a preformed
plate welded so that the house is not pressed.
For installation in cabinet there are several possible positions
and the dimensions of the box depend on them.
As with DD blowers, the closet is built
from aluminum profile with galvanized plates and
plastic corners.
The inspection doors are fitted with locks.
The cabinets can be insulated or uninsulated
delivered.

All Lau blowers can be supplied in various positions. The series DD blowers are all counterclockwise
as viewed from the intake where the motor is built. The feet can be placed as shown in the drawings.
The A-series indirectly driven blowers can drive on both sides and the feet can be mounted as shown.
For the series Twin it is important to specify which side is the drive side, because this side 2 bearings
are mounted.
We can also supply all the accessories required for installation, such as frames, flexible sleeves, pulleys,
belts, motors and shock absorbers.
