Het deken bevindt zich in een signaal-rode koker, voorzien van een ophangoogje voor muurbevestiging. Twee treklinten laten toe het deken snel uit de koker te halen. Dank zij haar soepelheid omkleedt het deken goed hetgeen moet beveiligd worden. Het groot model is onder andere geschikt om een persoon met brandende kleren in te wikkelen. Een etiket met duidelijke gebruiksaanwijzing is goed zichtbaar op de koker aangebracht.
