Pollution and its associated air and water quality in China is currently a constant topic of discussion. By increasing awareness of the impact of industrial
production on the environment, a growing focus on the bio-based industry .
Consequently, this year nearly one billion dollars invested in the bio-based industry. The biobased industry in China is booming.
Even within the Chinese government the urgency lives to take measures that go against pollution.
This is done on the one hand by imposing rules and on the other side by stimulating (the development of) environmentally friendly processes and products.
Odds
The above developments offer opportunities for foreign parties. Since there is present in the Netherlands a lot of knowledge and expertise, companies,
institutions and universities respond to this. China is echter een grote onbekende markt. However, China is a big unknown market .
Therefore invites the Netherlands Office for Science and Technology (NOST) as part of the Dutch Consulate General in Shanghai, the bio-based industry in the
Netherlands to visit the China International Biobased Technology and Partnering Conference in Shanghai .
This is an international conference where you can gain information on the bio-based industry in China, but also potential partners / clients can meet .
To organize will NOST around the conference program with visits, a workshop on Bio-based technology and matchmaking sessions .
