Subject: Invitation to the Eighth EASA Rotorcraft Symposium 3 and 4 December 2014
Dear Sir, Madam,
I am pleased to invite you to attend the Eighth Rotorcraft Symposium scheduled to be held
at the Pullman Hotel in Cologne, Germany, on 3 and 4 December 2014.
The EASA Rotorcraft Symposium is the European forum for the rotary wing community
where Authorities, Industry, Operators and Pilots are invited to present and discuss the
recent achievements in the field and share the future vision about a common strategy of
rotorcraft airworthiness and operations for the promotion of Aviation Safety.
I can anticipate a particularly attractive agenda, on the basis of the most significant events
some of which have driven attention of the media, the public and our community. The
implementation of European operational rules in October 2014, the occurred
implementation of the Operational Suitability Data concept, the Offshore incidents and
accidents, that triggered several discussions and the conclusions of which were summarised
in a dedicated report, the ensuing actions, are just a few of those. We will address new
Design Technologies to Aircraft safety fundamentals including Airworthiness compliance,
Continuing Airworthiness, Operations, and Certification Standards.
As customary, the Symposium will only be accessible to registered participants; therefore,
kindly indicate your interest by completing the “registration form” on the EASA website
(Events), before Saturday 15 November 2014. The participants will receive confirmation of
their participation. The Agency levies an administrative fee of C150 from all symposium
participants (speakers and press free of charge).
All conference documentation, as well as information on registration and accommodation will
be published on the EASA Website (Events): http://easa.europa.eu/events/events.phD You
are invited to visit it regularly for updates.
.
