Sossego Fast Motor Yachts
The Sossego Fast Motor Yachts are built by
Gebr. Van Enkhuizen, Makkum, The Netherlands.
In 2005 cooperation began with Valk Maritiem
for developing and building the Sossego yachts.
Since then several of these yachts have been built.
Gebr. Van Enkhuizen is a yard that builds Custom Built yachts, and is based in the Frisian
town of Makkum, The Netherlands, since 1992. The origins of the yard comes from the yacht
installation industry, and this passion is well recognised in the finish of the ships. By the high
quality and fine finishing touch, these ships flirt with their surroundings.

Sossego yachts are meant to sail fast comfortably. The well designed shape of the hull
provides pleasant sailing characteristics. The yachts are built entirely in The Netherlands.

Sossego Comfort 22
The Sossego yachts built by Gebr. Van Enkhuizen are a unique appearance on the water. The
elegant lines provide a luxury charisma. In combination with the high quality of the finish
they indeed flirt with their surroundings.
Gebr. Van Enkhuizen builds ships on order according to the semi custom built principle.
Wishes of the clients are taken into account, so that each Sossego gets its own personal touch.
The Sossego 22 is standardly delivered with two 8 cylinder MAN Diesel engines of 1200 bhp
each. Optional delivery with two 12 cylinder engines of each 1550 bhp. is possible, for even
more speed.
The engine room is in the rear of the ship, which benefits the sailing performance. Another
advantage is that the engine compartment is well separated and insulated from the interior.
The ship has lots of comfort and is fully equipped, with air conditioning and a well equipped
galley. Finishing style and kind of wood in consultation with the client. The interior has
standard a luxury owners cabin with own sanitation, and one or more roomy cabins for the
guests.
Also on deck you can linger pleasantly. On the upper and front deck you find a roomy sunbed
and in the cockpit at the rear, you can relish while sheltered.
Piloting can be done from the inside, as well as outside on the flying bridge, where you can
overlook everything well from behind a windshield. The yacht is well suited for the
Mediterranean, but also for the North European waters.
On the swimming platform there is storage for the dingy, which is launched by a hydraulic
swerve platform. This platform can also serve as an ideal step during swimming.
Optional the ship can be equipped with a Seaceeper stabilizer.
