Door het innovatieve design evenaart de Indoorroller het gevoel van rijden op een wedstrijdbaan. The Indoor Roller enables athletes to train wherever they want, at any time of year. It can be used to provide a good warm-up before races, and to cool down afterwards. The Beekhof Specials Indoor Roller Beekhof Specials has worked with the Dutch Paralympic Wheelchair Team to develop the Indoor Roller – an innovative product designed to replicate the feeling of riding on a racing track. The Indoor Roller models were used by the Dutch Paralympic team in 2013 at events including the world championships in France (Lyon), the Swiss Open championship (Pratteln) and at training sessions. Licht en demontabel Doordat de Indoorroller licht gebouwd, voorzien van wieltjes en bovendien demontabel is, kan hij gemakkelijk worden getransporteerd en opgeslagen. Door de beperkte afmetingen is het mogelijk de Indoorroller mee te nemen naar bijvoorbeeld wedstrijden. Volgens de Nederlandse Paralympische atleten Stephan Rush en Desiree Vranken benadert de Indoorroller zeer goed de werkelijkheid van het rijden op de baan. Its modest dimensions means you can easily take the Indoor Roller with you to races. De Indoorroller is voor nagenoeg elk type sportrolstoel eenvoudige instelbaar van 170 cm – 220 cm en daardoor bruikbaar voor meerdere atleten. Trainen op elke locatie Suitable for every type of sports wheelchair Productontwikkeling The Indoor Roller can be adjusted to fit just about every type of sports wheelchair from 170cm to 220cm, which means it can be shared amongst athletes. Beekhof Specials werkt continue aan ontwikkeling en verbetering van de Indoorroller. Innovaties worden altijd uitgebreid getest met de atleten. Momenteel wordt ook gewerkt aan een speciale antislipcoating voor de (aluminium) hoepels van de sportrolstoel. Hiermee wordt uitschieten tijdens het afzetten voorkomen en is intapen van de hoepels niet meer nodig. De Indoorroller geeft atleten de mogelijkheid op iedere locatie en tijdens elk seizoen te trainen. Voorafgaand aan wedstrijden zorgt de Indoorroller voor een goede warming-up en cooling-down na wedstrijden. De Indoorroller modellen zijn door het Nederlandse Paralympisch team in 2013 onder meer gebruikt tijdens de wereldkampioenschappen in Frankijk (Lyon), de open Zwitserse kampioenschappen (Pratteln) en tijdens trainingsstages. Custommade In deze folder staan de standaarduitvoeringen van de Indoorroller vermeld. Omdat elke Indoorroller met de hand wordt vervaardigd, zijn naar wens van de atleet diverse aanpassingen op aanvraag mogelijk. Custommade This brochure sets out the standard models of the Indoor Roller. Because each Indoor Roller is hand-made, it can be tailored and adapted to the needs of the athlete using it. Product development Beekhof Specials works continuously to further develop and improve the Indoor Roller. Innovations are always thoroughly tested with athletes. We’re currently also working on a special anti-slip coating for the aluminium wheels of the sports wheelchair. This will prevent slippage when pushing off, and means the wheels no longer need to be taped up.
