1.
Introduction
On 3-4 April 2014, the Inbev-Baillet Latour Chair of European Union-China Relations at the College
of Europe will organise an International Conference on “Mass Communication and EU-China
Relations”, which will be the 6th annual conference on EU-China relations that the Chair organises.
The conference is organised with the support of the European Commission grant under the LLP
Jean Monnet Programme (Education, Audiovisual & Culture Executive Agency).
The Conference on “Mass Communication and EU-China Relations” will cover the following
dimensions of EU-China relations:

Registration for the Conference
For security reasons the Committee of the Regions requires that all participants at the conference
(speakers and chairs included) register for the Conference.

Conference Logistics
The Conference will take place at the Committee of the Regions on 3 and 4 April 2013.

Working language
The working language of the Conference is English.
Working modus
The conference will be composed of 6 panels, with presentations by paper givers. The
presentations of the speakers will be followed by a Q&A Session.

By plane: From the Brussels International Airport:

Train from the Airport (access from level -1) to the Central Station:

Take bus line 38 direction “Heros” for five stops to “Luxemburg” => 7-minute walk to the
venue.
