NEWS BULLETIN 1st September 2014 Seaway Heavy Lifting successfully installed the IKA JZ deck for INAgip On the 23rd of August, Seaway Heavy Lifting successfully completed the installation of the IKA JZ deck on top of the existing jacket for INAgip (a joint venture between Croatia’s oil company INA and Italy’s Eni). The scope consisted of the installation of the IKA JZ 555 tons deck and the welding of four connecting legs. Seaway Heavy Lifting’s crane vessel ‘Oleg Strashnov’ executed this project on DP. The gas production platform was constructed by Rosetti Marino and its Croatian subcontractor Viktor Lenac shipyard. The IKA JZ Platform is part of a wide gas field development in the Croatian sector of the Adriatic Sea. Peter de Bree, Seaway Heavy Lifting’s COO says: “I am very proud of the excellent performance our project team showed during this project, especially considering the short preparation time; the contract was signed on 24th July and installation of the deck (including welding) took place between 19th -23rd August.” Please find an image of the platform on the next page IKA JZ platform as installed For more information: Angela Diergaarde Corporate Communication T: + 31 79 363 77 00 [email protected] **************************************************************************************************************************************** Seaway Heavy Lifting is a leading offshore contractor in the global Oil & Gas and Renewables industry, offering tailored T&I and EPCI solutions*.
