the burden of malaria.

Malaria is a parasitic disease
transmitted by the bite of infected
mosquitoes. Once the first symptoms
appear, malaria can kill very rapidly
and often does.
マラリアは寄生虫性の病気で
寄生虫に感染した蚊によって伝染する。
一度症状が現れると感染者は非常に早く死にやすく

to prevent mosquitoes
from infecting people
with malaria.

Y’s Men International （YMI) and the
International Federation of the Red

coordinated efforts.

distributed
25,000 nets
in Sierra Leone.

funded by YMI in
Sierra Leone,

1. Determine the number of long-lasting
mosquito net packages to purchase for
$8 each; create your goal based on that
amount.
1．蚊帳を単価8ドルでいく張り購入するか
決定しよう。
2． Launch your fund-raising campaign each
year
on World Malaria Day, April 25.
2．世界マラリアデー（4月25日）に
募金キャンペーンを立ち上げよう。
3. Host community events to create awareness
of the campaign.

4．Campaign ends March 15 of each year
through 2015 (all contributions due on this
date)
