A4: / (Which pen is yours?) 6 不可數名詞 Non-count Nouns 泛指因不同容器,會改變其形狀的不可數名詞,例如:液體 物質 coke, soda, milk, tea, juice, soup, water, ink, coffee, paint 因製造成份影響,成為不可數名詞的固體,例如:粉筆,鐵, 錫等chalk, bread, iron, silver, gold, tin, soap, paper 因形狀太小，根本無法計數 dirt, dust, grass, hair, rice, salt, sugar 7 不可數名詞 Non-count Nouns 可隨意切取大小之不可數名詞,例如: string 線, meat肉, wood木頭 等。切記如果指肉量則為不可 數，例如fish，但如果有許多種魚，則可說fishes. 大自然物質,例如:雨,雪等不可數名詞,例如 rain, snow, dust, mud, sand, grass, smoke, fire 其他抽象名詞例如 happiness, sadness, research, evidence, safety, beauty, knowledge 8 物質名詞 Materials 材料 chalk, cloth, concrete, cotton, glue, lumber, wood, wool, etc. Food 食品 beef, bread, butter, fish, meat, popcorn, pork, poultry, toast, etc. Gases 氣體 air, exhaust, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, pollution, smog, smoke, steam, etc. Liquids 液體 blood, coffee, gasoline, milk, oil, soup, syrup, tea, water, wine, etc. 9 如何計數Non-count Nouns 用容器或計數單位，就變成可數了。 I’d like a glass of water.
