Universidad Católica de Chile y Magíster en Regulación
Económica en la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Es
Vicepresidente de la Asociación Chilena de Energías
Renovables, ACERA, y Gerente General de la empresa
Acciona Energía, desarrollador de proyectos eólicos y
solares. De forma paralela, es Director de la Asociación
de la Industria Eléctrica y Electronica (AIE) y fundador
de la Asociación de emprendedores de Chile (Asech).
Durante su carrera, se ha dedicado a fomentar el
desarrollo de las ERNC en Chile y a promover
mecanismos de regulación para la industria, con el fin
de facilitar la inversión en energía limpia.

Jose Ignacio Escobar Troncoso, is an Electric Industrial Engineer from the Pontificia
Universidad Católica de Chile, and Master of Economic Regulation at the University
Adolfo Ibáñez. He is Vice President of the Chilean Association of Renewable Energies,
ACERA, and General Manager of the company Acciona, a wind and solar energy
developer. In parallel, is Director of the Association of Electrical and Electronics Industry
(IEA) and founder of the Association of entrepreneurs of Chile (ASECH).
During his career, has been dedicated to promoting the development of NCRE in Chile
and to promote regulatory mechanisms for the industry, for the purpose of facilitate
investment in clean energy.
