DESCRIPTION
Ventus I Wind Park is composed of 5 Vestas V100 1,8 MW wind turbines, adding up a total of
9 MW nominal power.
The electric energy is sold entirely to the Spot Market.
LEGAL STRUCTURE
The park is owned by a group of private investors who possess Certificates of Ownership of a Private Offer
Financial Trust in which the most recognized brokers of the country were involved, such as Paullier, Rospide,
Gletir, Pollio, Renmax and other individual investors. Ventus I is the first private trust with an initial offer of 19,5
million dollars, conceived in such way so that any person could invest in it. Posadas, Posadas & Vecino was the
firm responsible of legal affairs during a 14 month process. Republica AFISA was selected as the
parks trustee.
Construction of Ventus I Wind Park takes place under a contract with Vestas as provider of the wind turbines
and an EPC contract for the rest of the works, being Ventus’ first EPC project, in which Ventus is responsible
in case construction is not finished on time.
Ventus and Vestas will be responsible for the operation and exploitation if the park.
