Vom 7. – 10. Juni 2015 laden wir Sie – zusammen mit unseren italienischen
Kollegen – im Rahmen eines Friendshipmeetings ganz herzlich zur 66. Jahrestagung der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Neurochirurgie nach Karlsruhe ein.
We kindly invite you to the 66th Annual Meeting of the German Society of Neurosurgery that will be held in Karlsruhe, June 07–10, 2015. We will have a Friendshipmeeting with our colleagues from the Italian Society of Neurosurgery.
Das übergeordnete Thema der 66. Jahrestagung ist Individualisierung und
Neuorientierung. Dementsprechend spiegeln die Hauptthemen Teilgebiete der
Neurochirurgie wider, in denen aktuell große Veränderungen stattfinden.
The main themes of our meeting will be individualization and reorientation.
According to this, we have chosen our main topics in order to explore areas in
which massive changes are ongoing.

In der Therapie zerebrovaskulärer Erkrankungen stellt sich die Frage, wie wir uns
als Neurochirurgen in der zunehmend endovaskulär ausgerichteten Behandlung positionieren.
Wie sind in der modernen fachübergreifenden Schädelbasischirurgie endoskopische und radiochirurgische Verfahren zu integrieren?
Wie weit entfernt sind wir von individualisierten bzw. biologischen Implantaten
im fast unüberschaubaren Implantatmarkt in der Wirbelsäulenchirurgie?
Werden robotische Assistenzsysteme in der Neurochirurgie zunehmend zum
Einsatz kommen? Ausgewählte Karlsruher Forscher sowie renommierte italienische Kollegen werden in Key-Note-Präsentationen dazu Stellung nehmen.
Die wissenschaftlichen Sitzungen werden durch Kurse und Satellitenveranstaltungen ergänzt. Zudem findet am Eröffnungstag wieder der Educational Day
statt.
The point is: where is our position as neurosurgeons and where will it be in
the future, as the neurovascular field is increasingly being dominated by endovascular interventions?
The market of spinal implants is rapidly growing and becomes more and more
diversified. How far away are we going with individualized manufactured implants and biological tissue engineering?
What is the significance of endoscopy in modern skull base surgery and how do
we integrate the upcoming stereotactic radiosurgery into this concept?
Another important topic is robotics in medical science and especially in neurosurgery. Scientists from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and wellrespected robotic experts from Italy will give special key-note-presentations.
The scientific sessions will be accomplished by workshops and satellite symposia. As usual, the Educational Day will be held on the opening day.

feiert 2015 seinen 300. Geburtstag und wir feiern mit. Gemäß dem Motto

ansprechendes Rahmenprogramm für Sie zusammenstellen.
Karlsruhe is the seat of Germany‘s uppermost judicial bodies and known as ‚city
of justice and lawmaking‘. The fan-shaped layout, with the ground plan of the
streets running from the tower of the palace to the South, is also unique. In 2015
Karlsruhe is going to celebrate its 300th birthday, and we will join the festivities.
Corresponding to the slogan of the TechnologyRegion Karlsruhe – ‚HighTech
meets the Good Life‘ – we will arrange an attractive social program.
