Concept
The cattle industry is a sector where much attention is paid to
reducing the costs of production. Many aspects of management
have improved in recent years, innovations in lighting however
have failed to keep up.
Recent generations of LED chips are an excellent alternative to
conventional light sources. Average energy savings of 60% and
significantly lower maintenance intervals are strong benefits. An
optimized light spectrum can also be created with specific LED
lighting, which has a positive result on production efficiency and
animal welfare.
LED factory has been working with cattle breeders developing a
luminaire in which all the benefits of the latest generation of LED
chips are combined. The modular ‘Mira XL’ LED armature is very
robust, has a flexible light spread (applicable to stable widths up
to 40m) and excellent dimming characteristics.
