JPEG 2000 (ISO/IEC 15444)
Resolution 13 – Approval of cancelation of ISO/IEC 15444-1:2004/AMD7
WG 1 approves the cancelation of the minor enhancement of ISO/IEC 15444-1:2004/AMD7 (High frame rate profile for
digital cinema), in light of new experiments to be conducted by SMPTE to define appropriate parameters for the high
frame rate profile. WG 1 further requests SC29 Secretariat for appropriate actions. WG 1 intends to restart this activity as
soon as results will become available.

WG 1 approves the DOCR text of ISO/IEC 15444-1:2004/DAM8 (Profiles for interoperable master format (IMF)) as

Resolution 41 – Approval of WG 1 Press release
WG 1 approves the 66th WG 1 Sapporo Meeting Press Release as contained in WG1N6778. WG 1 requests SC29 to
publish the press release on the SC29 website after August 1st 2014.
Resolution 42 – Approval of WG 1 Website and hosting by Vrije Universiteit Brussel
WG 1 approves the new website as proposed by Vrije Universiteit Brussel-iMinds and contained in WG1N6699. WG 1
requests the WG 1 webmaster to take appropriate actions to publish the website. WG 1 approves the hosting by Vrije
Universiteit Brussel.
Resolution 43 – Request for input for JPEG Website
WG 1 members are requested to provide input material and feedback for the new JPEG public website as contained in
WG1N6699. A temporary version of the website is consultable at: http://projects.universumdigitalis.com/jpeg
Resolution 44 – Implementation of migration of WG 1 document register to ISO Livelink platform
WG 1 approves in accordance with the new ISO rules and SC 29 guidelines switching to the document register provided
on the ISO Livelink platform. In order to assure a flawless transition, WG 1 will utilize the current WG 1 document
register on jpeg.org until and during the Strasbourg meeting. In the meantime, WG 1’s webmaster will investigate and
execute in collaboration with the ISO Livelink IT team, the transfer of the current WG 1 document register to the ISO
Livelink platform.
In parallel, all WG 1 members shall ask their National Bodies to register them as WG 1 experts in the ISO Global
Directory.
Resolution 45 – Approval of JPEG logo
WG 1 approves the adoption of the JPEG logo as proposed in WG1N6775.
Resolution 46 – Request to submit IPR statements related to JPEG standards under development
WG 1 requests submissions of IPR statements relevant to all JPEG standards under development in accordance with
Common Patent Policy for ITU-T/ITU-R/ISO/IEC. Further details can be found at www.itu.int/ITUT/dbase/patent/patent-policy.html or ISO/IEC Directives Part 1, Appendix I.
