Pay As You Go This is the default when using Cloudlynx services. Services are metered on an hourly basis and the contract has an unlimited lifetime. Invoices will be sent at the beginning of a calendar month and include all services that were used during the previous calendar month. 2. Reserved Instances With this option, Customer can select flavours and quantities and commits to a minimum amount of usage over a year. In return, Customer receives a discount for the selected flavours. The discount depends on chosen usage. A one time upfront payment must be made for the usage and commitment duration. Reserved instances are not refundable. If the instances usage exceeds Customer’s chosen commitment level, then the pay as you go rate will apply for usage which exceeds the upfront payment. The commitment is for one year and will not automatically renew. The following table lists the discount for a one year commitment. Pre-Payment With this option, Customer commits to a total revenue on a yearly basis and pays the amount upfront. A discount is applied to all services used by the Customer. The discount is independent of which resources (flavour types or amount of usage) are used and applies to all Cloudlynx services. If the total pre-paid amount is used up before the one year period ends, the discount no longer applies and any the further usage will be invoiced at the pay as you go rates. No refund will be made if usage is less than the prepaid amount.
