What is Erasmus Mundus - Al Idrisi II? Erasmus Mundus - Al Idrisi II is a scholarship scheme for exchange and cooperation between Europe and North Africa. It is an Erasmus Mundus Action 2 project which organizes and manages scholarships financed by the European Commission for members of Al Idrisi II partner and associate universities and nationals from Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia and the European Union. Selected grantees may follow a credit transfer, short stay or full degree programme at one of the partner universities. If you are enrolled or registered at a European higher education institution not included in the Al Idrisi II partnership you can apply for: ÎÎ Credit transfer programmes (master) ÎÎ Shorts stays (doctorate, post-doctorate, academic and administrative staff) è for nationals from Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia If you are enrolled at a partner university in Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco or Tunisia you can apply for: What are the aims of Erasmus Mundus - Al Idrisi II? ÎÎ To allow undergraduate and master students, doctoral candidates, post-doctoral fellows as well as academic and administrative staff to gain valuable experience, knowledge and contacts abroad. ÎÎ To provide improved education and training opportunities for vulnerable groups and socio-economically disadvantaged students, and promote equal access to higher education for students from least developed regions. ÎÎ To exchange knowledge, know-how and experience between Europe and North Africa reinforcing the teaching and research capacities of the partner universities. ÎÎ To set up International Cooperation Cells in research, teaching and administration. ÎÎ To promote common areas of higher education. The scholarship covers a monthly allowance, tuition fees, health, travel and accident insurance and expenses for one economy class round trip. Duration Monthly allowance 6 or 10 months 1,000 € Master 6, 10, 12 or 24 months 1,000 € Doctorate 6 or 36 months 1,500 € Post-doctorate 6 months 1,800 € Staff 1 month 2,500 € Level of mobility Undergraduate What disciplines are offered?
