Church Building Development. Having considered the various responses to the
church building development proposals, the P.C.C. has now voted by a large
majority to proceed to the next stage and to seek to obtain the various
permissions needed from the Diocese and local council for the proposed
designs. This is a major step forward for the project and a full and detailed update
about the path ahead will appear in the new year.
CONGRATULATIONS to Holy Trinity’s Ivy Ong who has just achieved a

the life and ministry of this church. We have some big challenges for 2015 - can
you review your giving or join one of the planned giving schemes? Tim Stead.
The Community Emergency Food Bank operates from St Francis Church on

A message from Fr. Bob and Mary Nichols: Some of you will remember Mary's
mother, Con Bacon, from her trips to stay with us while we were living in
Headington Quarry. Con died unexpectedly on Friday, 5th December. As we are
busy with funeral arrangements etc., we are unable to write Christmas greetings
this year. However, Bob and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you
peace at Christmas and many blessings in 2015.
