DIRECT INVITATION OF TENDERS
Dy.Chief Material Manager (Mech.) Central Railway Parel, Mumbai-400 012 invites W.B. (fortnight)
Tenders for the supply of following items. Tenders are due for opening in this office on 23RD
DECEMBER 2014 of 11.30 hours (AN).
The attention of tenderers drawn to the fact that they should clearly indicate in their quotations
quantity of origin makers name, Brand etc. of the material offered by them without which their
quotations are liable to be ignored. They should quote for the Unit mentioned in the Tender List,
otherwise their quotations will not be considered.
The quotations should be dropped in the respective Tender Box placed for this purpose in this
office (DY.C.M.M (Mech.) Parel, Central Railway only and not in the office of the Controller of Stores
CSTM. Which please note.
1 As per list attached, drawing or sample can be seen in the Office.
2 100% payment in Advance will not be considered
3 Payment after delivery against receipt notes will be preferred.
4 Inspection by Consignee / DY.CMM (M) PR.
5 Suppliers Registered with COS Office should quote Registration No. on quotation.
6 A.M.M / PR has full power to accept or reject and quotations WITHOUT ASSIGNING ANY REASONS
7 All Tender must write rate in Figures and Words without fail
8 Firms should mention their contact Phone Nos on their offers
9 The supplier who have secured Pos but failed to supply the material even after expiry of delivery
period. These suppliers MAY not be considered for Fresh Pos
10. The offer in respect of supply of various types of bearings will be accepted only from dealers
of manufacturers of bearing only with authorization letters. Authorised dealers of bearing
requested to quote. The offers received from unauthorised firms may be passed over.
11. Please use original letterhead for quotation. The Xerox copy will be ignored out without
assigning any reasons
12. Vendors must quote MRP along with quoted rates with offer wherever the MRP is printed on
packages.
13. Material to be purchased from OEM/Authorized dealer/Distributer. Tenderer must submit copy
of the same along with quotation or else offer may be ignored.
14. Offers received on original letterhead will only be considered, offers received against zerox
letterhead will summarily be rejected other than fax offers.
15. Taxes , wherever applicable, should be shown separately and not all inclusive rates.
16. As special condition in tender documents, a separate item of TAXES is to be incorporated.
17. In the payment terms, it is to be categorically mentioned, if service tax is leviable, the section
under which it is levied is to be mentioned by the tenderer .If abatement of Service Tax , the
notification under which abatement taken .
18. The Service Tax Registration No. of the tender and copy of the same is to be insisted on.
19. Tariff Head No. specific to the material procured should be reflected in the Tax Invoice .
20. The category of service for which the firm registration with CBEC is to be sought.
21. Offer validity should be 45 Days from the date of opening.

NOTE:-[1] ALL VENDORS ARE HEREBY INFORMED THAT “IF PURCHASE ORDER IS NOT COMPLETED” THE SAME
WILL BE CANCELLED AT THEIR RISK AND 10% G.D. WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THEIR PENDING BILLS.
[2] Firms registered with COS Office are requested to quote against this W.B.
Tenders Firm should give reference of their Registration No. with COS &
this depot.
[3] This office will shortly switchover to e-Procurement/e-tendering .All the
Tenderers are advise to get their Digital Token
