Qualifications and Hiring Criteria - technical ability and related experience in course subject material,
an undergraduate degree in engineering, academic excellence, satisfactory previous employment under
the provisions of the CUPE3902 collective agreement.
Description of duties - fostering student learning and assisting the course instructor as necessary.
Duties may include laboratory supervision and assistance, marking, preparation for lectures or tutorials,
maintaining office hours for student inquiries, student and course support, meetings, final exam
invigilation.
Hours of work: approx. At least 54 hours per TA (average of 4 hours per week)
Dates of Appointment: January 1, 2015 to April 30, 2015
Rate of Pay: $42.05 per hour for SGS I and SGS II level appointments.
