Please apply as a transfer student and indicate your major as pre-nursing (0989) on forms for admission to the university. The Gateway Advisor will have your major changed to RN-BSN once you are in the program. Each student will be advised on what general education credits they need by the Gateway Advisor after receiving acceptance to UTC as an undergraduate transfer student, and having submitted transcripts for evaluation. Admission to the university, graduation from an accredited diploma or associate degree nursing program, a current RN license, and a minimum GPA of 2.0 meets the requirements for admission to the RN-BSN concentration.
