By participating in the We Save program, you can save energy and earn a
®
rebate when you purchase ENERGY STAR certified Compact Fluorescent
Light (CFL) bulbs in single or multi-packs.
What rebate can I earn?
$2 per bulb or purchase price, whichever is less* (max. rebate $100)
* Rebate may not exceed purchase price.
What does it mean to be ENERGY STAR Certified?
ENERGY STAR certified CFLs:
• Save $40 to $135 over their lifetime.
• Use 75% less energy than incandescents.
• Last 10 times longer than incandescents.
• Produce about 75% less heat, making them safer to operate while
decreasing energy costs associated with home cooling.
• Meet strict performance requirements and carry a minimum 2-year warranty.
Which CFLs should I buy to replace my current incandescent
bulbs?
To choose the right CFL, determine the light output (lumens) you need.
If you’re replacing an old 40W bulb, look for 450-799 lumens.
If you’re replacing an old 60W bulb, look for 800-1,099 lumens.
If you’re replacing an old 75W bulb, look for 1,100-1,599 lumens.
If you’re replacing an old 100W bulb, look for 1,600-1,999 lumens.
