All Roads Lead to...Linwood Senior Center A Big Thank You, Dear Friends, Wow, another year has come & gone! I hope you had a year full of memories. 2014 has brought great joy, as well as unfortunate loss for many of us. For those of you who are missing loved ones, my prayers and my heart goes out to you. Loss due to a fire, recently came to the Downtown Center and so we have Gerald McCoy, the DSC director, here with us and some of the DSC members coming in as well. Thank you for your welcoming kindness to all who come to our Linwood family! We will be cozy together. My hope is that we will all continue to encourage one another —wherever we may be in this road called life, and that each of you can find wonderful possibilities for your future. Look inside our pages to kick off a great start to a positive new year! Yours truly——Cherise To all who have given from the heart! Your generosity to the Salvation Army Foster Care Program and the Children was overwhelming!! We had a “mountain” of luggage, totes and backpacks. One special lady, is continuing to take totes and cover them with material that would make any child happy. So please continue to bring the tote bags with writing on them, and she will continue to supply the children with totes!
