Effective: January 1, 2015 WEST VIRGINIA HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FUND LOW-INCOME HOUSING TAX CREDIT PROGRAM HUD DESIGNATIONS OF QUALIFIED CENSUS TRACTS AND DIFFICULT DEVELOPMENT AREAS FOR THE STATE OF WEST VIRGINIA *QUALIFIED CENSUS TRACTS Internal Revenue Code Section 42(d)(5)(B)(ii) A Qualified Census Tract is any census tract (or any equivalent geographic area defined by the Bureau of the Census) in which either at least 50% of the households in such census tract have an income less than 60% of the Area Median Gross Income (AMGI) or such census tract has a poverty rate of at least 25%. This list of Qualified Census Tracts is effective for allocations of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits made after December 31, 2014. These Difficult Development Areas are effective for allocations of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits made after December 31, 2014.
