conformance with the Colorado Open Meetings Law. The Mined Land Reclamation Board will hold
its monthly meeting on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 318, Denver,
Colorado, beginning at 9:00 a.m., unless otherwise noticed.
Due to the statutory deadlines and other responsibilities and requirements, the following Mined Land

11. Rulemaking Hearing – Limited Impact Mining Operations
The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board will consider promulgation of new rules and
amendments proposed by the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety to the Mineral Rules
and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Hard Rock, Metal and
Designated Mining Operations, 2 CCR 407-1, regarding Limited Impact Mining Operations.
The Board will consider amendment to Rules 1.1, 1.4, 1.11, 2.5, 4.2, and 6.3, as outlined in the
draft proposed rules published in the Colorado Register on December 25, 2014. The Board will
hear testimony from the Division and any interested party. (Director Brannon and Tony

This time is scheduled to provide the public with an opportunity to address non-agenda items.
Those wishing to speak should do so at this time. All persons wishing to address the Board
should fill out a presentation slip and present it to the Board Secretary.
13. Executive Session - NOI’s
The Board will meet in executive session to discuss prospecting notices required to be kept
confidential pursuant to section 34-32-113(3), C.R.S. (50 minutes)
14. Executive Session
The Board will meet in executive session to discuss the following pending litigation Jason
Uecker v. MLRB and Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 2014CV546.
